A Fairy Sighting in Nevada…

A very nice woman named Teri recently contacted me with this interesting story–

While camping in the Wheeler Pass / Spring Mountain, Nevada area,  Teri brought along an “enchanted” fairy pendant that she had purchased from Ebay.  Teri believes that this pendant is truly an enchanted object.  According to her story, she called the fairy, whose name is Arianna,  while she was up at the camp site and the fairy responded by showing herself.

Is this a fairy come to visit?

Is this a fairy come to visit?

The photo that was taken right after she summoned the fairy is definitely thought provoking.  As you can see in the first photo (left, in the circled area),  there is a small but very bright object clearly visible.  According to Teri, there were no fires in the area and no flash was used when taking the photo.

Enlarged image of the circled area, left

Enlarged image

An enlargement of the photo (below, left) is even more intriguing.  Even though it is blurry, you can definitely see what appears to be a small, luminous figure. This does not appear to be a moth or other insect because this object was emitting its own light and most insects don’t do that.  One insect that does emit it’s own light is a firefly/lightening bug but they only emit light from their lower abdomen and are shaped like a beetle (see image below) which wouldn’t match the image above.

There were other photos taken during this camping trip that showed lots of orbs which you can see here if you are interested.

Again, these photos were taken without flash so it’s extremely unlikely that the fairy picture and the orbs are just dust particles (which would have been something to consider if a flash had been used).

Is this proof that a fairy appeared when summoned?  It’s a very impressive photo taken under great conditions but it’s always hard to be 100% certain.  What do you think???

The link from the word “here” does not go to photos of orbs. This is the link:

    Hi Moe,

Thanks for pointing that out–that link was to all the photos taken by Teri including the ones that were featured in the post. I have changed it to link to one photo, one that was a great example of the orbs that were there during the camping trip. Hope that helps clear up the confusion.

The other day I was sitting near the door to my backyard(its one of those glass slide doors ). I live in Mont-Saint-Hilaire, so my backyard is rich with vegetation. It has LOTS of trees and plants. Anyways, I was just sitting there looking out into my backyard when I was something and Im still not sure what it was since it didnt stay long enough for me to see it that well. If you look at it quickly it just looked like an insect. But when I looked at it harder it looked like insect wings(like a moth or wtv) with tiny dangling legs and arms i really am not sure it just flew a bit around the porch railing near the barbecue and then it flew away. It could just have been an insect i have never seen before but I thought it really looked like a fairy. Could anyone help me? tell me what this is? I didnt know where to ask.

  6. admin May 26, 2009 at 2:08 pm #

    Hi c-harper,

Well, I mentioned the facts as I know them and the rest is for each individual to decide. It happened in the Wheeler Pass / Spring Mountain area of Nevada.

Most of the photos I took when I was younger had orbs. I was always told this was due to overexposure.

What kind of camera was used? I seem to see less orbs now that I’m using a digital camera, but I’m usually not snapping a wide enough area to get any real results. However, sometimes there are unexplained blurry edges when I zoom in close. Orbs too close, maybe?

  8. admin June 9, 2009 at 8:36 pm #

Kassie- A lot of orbs in photos are in fact dust caused by using a digital camera, not the older type of camera. However, one way to distinguish the real thing from dust is if they are emitting light from within and if they are partially hidden behind something (dust doesn’t do that). There’s lots of info on this on the internet, you just have to google dust orbs, etc. Also, you might try video recording it to see if it moves erratically then you might have something. I have done some ghost hunting and have run into this a bit…

  10. julie June 12, 2009 at 4:44 pm #

hi i do believe that fairies are real. i mean how can anyone be 100% sure that they dont exsist. there many things we dont know about this world and just because we havent seen or discovered it yet, doesnt mean its not there…..

  11. admin June 20, 2009 at 1:03 am #

    Hi Tisa,

That is a fascinating photo, isn’t it?

Lots of people here have had experiences with the fae so it is certainly possible for you. You might want to go out to the woods if you live near by because that is a great place to start attracting them.

    All the best,
    Natalie

  12. admin June 20, 2009 at 1:38 am #

    Hi Julie,

We absolutely agree with you! If others had the same experiences that my sister and I have had, they would have no choice but to believe.

    Take care,
    Susan

you Know the orbs could be gost

    but still thats pretty amazing

wait how did she summon them?

  15. admin July 3, 2009 at 12:23 am #

    Hi Cindy,

I think the pendant had a figure of a fairy on it.

    Natalie

  16. admin July 3, 2009 at 3:04 am #

    Hi ethan,

You are right, orbs can also be a sign of ghosts but in this case, because of the photo, I would go with fairies.

I’m not sure how she summoned the fairy. She had a fairy pendant that supposedly had a fairy attached to it and I imagine she asked the fairy to appear.

    Hi funky_bubblegum,

    Thanks for stopping by….

Your post mentioned that you saw something but you aren’t sure if you saw a flying insect or a fairy so I’m not exactly sure what the question is. I’d love to be able to tell you that it was a fairy but, I didn’t see it myself so I can’t help you with that, sorry :) .

Maybe you could see if it appears again and try and get a good look at it or even take a photo?

    All the best,
    Natalie

  20. ethan July 6, 2009 at 3:14 pm #

  21. ethan July 10, 2009 at 4:17 pm #

hi do you think that fairies mould make a home in your house because that happend in my house and its made out of a shoo box

  22. Kiki July 29, 2009 at 4:51 pm #

Hi, how did Teri know to call the fairy Arianna? Was it the name of the fairy pendant? *I believe*

    Thanks,
    Kiki

  23. admin July 30, 2009 at 1:09 am #

    Hi Kiki,

Good question….I think she told me that she bought the pendant from ebay so I’m guessing the person who sold it to her told her the fairy’s name. (By the way, I don’t support the idea of “imprisoning or binding” fairies AT ALL.)

  33. dante September 28, 2009 at 5:52 pm #

arent fairies like vampire …they don show up in pictures …well,at least when they dont want to>>>

  34. Michaela October 5, 2009 at 8:50 am #

Hiya Guys ^^ Im still trying ^^ I dont knw why but sometimes things move around my bedroom in thin air…Can u help me?

  35. Gloria October 9, 2009 at 9:21 pm #

Hi Michaela. They move in thin air? Does it look like a ball of light? Or does it look like some kind of bug? If it looks like a ball of light and it does not look like a bug its most likely a fairy. It might be the fairy’s are trying to get your attention. Try leaving shiny pennys and things like Fairy cakes and thimbles of honey for them and see if the pennys are gone in the morning. Fairy’s are known to just hover over food for there essense. I hope this helps!
    Gloria.

  36. KALVIN October 10, 2009 at 7:38 pm #

I wonder if the picture was taken near a oak tree.

  37. dante October 14, 2009 at 7:05 pm #

i always put some stuff for them outside at a spicific palce and tell them it’s all there but ,they play with it and return it and one time my dad saw a humming bird that flew around that placE!!!

  38. Fae Charmer12345 October 24, 2009 at 12:17 pm #

I think that this IS a REAL fae because faes like to wander around at night and try to find lilac trees to take a drink

  39. amutoxblackcat October 24, 2009 at 10:46 pm #

I don’t really think that’s a fey…. they don’t appear in pictures you know? unless… they glamoured themselves…. but that would be too careless….

  40. bri3 October 27, 2009 at 9:52 am #

i have a thoery that maybe the neclace was elven. wat do you guys think?

  41. Freckle Juice October 30, 2009 at 4:53 pm #

i really think that looks like a faery. the camara didn’t have a flash, so it think that is one of the only explinations i can think of. the one with the orbs… i not so sure of. i think some of those are just particles. there was also a fire in the picture, so some of the orbs could have been the little fire sparks floating up. but still, the first one is very interesting.

theres not much real fairy pictures in the world :(

  43. kairi3000 November 25, 2009 at 9:52 pm #

it looks like a fairy to me, but I’m not so sure the necklace was elven because she was out in nature and mabye the fairy heard her summoning and decided to trust her.

  46. Lachlan January 10, 2010 at 6:27 am #

    Hey Natalie!
Wow This is great. I am 14 years old and i live in Australia, I would actually like to know, is there any fairies in Australia? And i have planted honey and the protection Flag outside my house, and last night i could see this white light (We have a big bush behind our house) and it kept on moving, and it was small. Do you think this could be a Pixie? Thankyou

    Lachlan.

  47. ILov3Clay February 23, 2010 at 8:06 am #

I saw the pictures in the website you put there. And I noticed the picture in PICTURE 10. It could be the camera lense is dusty . Because we have the same kind of orbs appear in the camera lense while we were taking a photo of my dad washing a car.

There was no garden and it was just full of cement.

    Is there any difference?
