Hello,

I am in a photo class and I was taking pictures in the woods. I felt a strange energy in a certain pathway. I sat down and took a photo, but did not enter the path. When I developed the photo, I noticed 3 figures in the negative. It wasn't my best photo, so I developed some others. Due to extra time in the darkroom, though, my curiosity got the best of me and I developed an 8 x 10. Woah! Right in the middle of the photo as if posing is a tall, sinister figure who looks like he's yelling at me! I blew it up to get a better look and he's still there. I am not frightened though, nor do I feel like this being is malicious. I think I may have gotten too close to his space? Anyway, I was wondering if you'd like to see the photo and based on your expertise let me know what is up. I understand you're busy and it's okay if you can't. I am just curious and interested. I will scan and post the photos if you are up for it!

Blessings

Wow sounds interesting. I remember somebody on this forum posted a picture of a dryad/tree being that looked like he was mad. But dryads are known for being protective / defensive of their trees, but they still aren't malicious.

Thanks so much! I will have access to a scanner tomorrow, then post them.

I have researched the tree dryad, and it looks about right. Actually in high school I painted them all the time without knowing what they were! Only this one, if it is what it is, feels masculine and looks rather sinister. The people I showed it too said it resembled a tall alien.

Though I don't get a “bad” feeling about it at all, even though it looks rather scary. Anyway, will be posting tomorrow.Laugh

Okay, when I went to the library today, I found out it was closed. But then I thought, well I can still take a digital photo of the print. So here they are. (Note: the digital camera dulled the prints heavily, so I have increased the contrast to make them resemble the original.) A lot of clearness is lost through photographing the photo.

I have circled (with paint) where he is ahead:

And enlarged it (a photo of the photo I enlarged)

Let me know what you guys think. Sorry to keep anyone waiting!!!

That's amazing! I didn't see it at first but now it's quite clear. You can see most of an upper body as well… Definitely a great capture.

Wow. That's…interesting. The foliage is such that it's easy to spot (and imagine) faces all over the place, but that top hat shape is just so…top hat. That's not a shape you really get in nature. I'd have to say that based on the size of the hat shape, it looks more like whoever was wearing it might have been high up in the trees, rather than standing on the ground. (Unless that's a hill.) Also, if that really is a face under the hat shape, it looks to me like he's got a big moustache. I wonder who this guy is?

I didn't even notice the hat– thanks for pointing that out. The reason why I printed this is because I saw three figures in the photograph. I can see another figure to the right of the one in the middle that I circled– It's again, a head and a torso, and he's looking to the left (his right) at a 3/4 angle. But the one in the middle definitely stands out the most. (I haven't seen the fire breathing dragon yet).

Again, I also felt a strange presence in this place, so I did not enter it. I just took the photo and moved on. I didn't feel this with another other photograph's location. So I thought that was interesting.

Also, I have been looking at the 2nd figure for a while and it looks like it's wearing a light colored mask, like a theatre mask. I was thinking– mask, top hat— are these being tricksters? Maybe that's why I didn't get a “bad” or “Evil” energy from them. Just another thought..

A little to the right of the figure you circled reminds me of the head of a chinese dragon! Ah and now I also see the figure in between them. It seems a bit farther back.
