This is my wand, I've had it for 5-6 years now. It's made of clay and various crystals. The one at the tip is a clear quartz.

No although it is hand made (and looks very hand made). I got it from a new age shop in FL.

@ Bluetiger ~ Thank you for your comment :) I too am able to direct energy without using "tools", many years of meditation and practice ~ blessed with my intuition as well. These were very sentimental gifts given to me on my birthday and I was curious as to any advice about how the Faes particularly feel about the Wands. I cant help but feel like they have been calling me (the wands) to play with the Faes, so I wanted to ask anyone if they had a experience with wands and what they know about the Faes and how the Faes use them if they do. I am considering making a mini wand and leaving it as a token of appreciation for the wee ones :)

@ILUVEDANCE ~ Yes You nailed it! Amethyst (my birthstone hehe) is calming and balancing, helping you achieve inner peace and love as well as emotional balance. Ultimately results in energies of Love and Balance. Wonderful for healing your third eye (spiritual eye). Check locally for a Gem and Stone Store. Google.com your town and type in gem/crystal/stone stores. Also a book would help too to have a visual you could take notes in and see photos/properties. Here in my town we are blessed with a few Gem stores and I am able to pick up stones and crystals at as little as .10 cents to $6.00. If you have any particular crystal you are drawn to, they tend to find you ;) and if you would like more advice on their healing properties and energies I would be more than happy to private message you and share some knowledge. I currently study crystal healing and devote a lot of time and energy towards crystals (as well as herbal medicine) so if your interested I'd love to share ;)

Make sure after you purchase / find your crystals and stones to cleanse them so they are open and ready for your own energies. The energies from others wont harm you, but will contain unwanted energies of others so it wont be as easy for yours to fill the crystal and focus on what healing property you are hoping to achieve. After you cleanse them they are now ready to be charged ~ which means to simply put the energy you are focusing on into the crystal such as Balance, Healing, Protection, Peace, Spirituality, and so on… 

There is a number of ways to cleanse the crystals and stones; Do what makes you comfortable and what you are most drawn to and when you are cleansing focus on the Energy you would like to charge it with. NEVER think of negative thoughts when holding your crystal ~ they are very sensitive to energies so only think peaceful loving thoughts. I clean my crystals weekly in the earths soil in my Aromatherapy Garden ;)

Salt Water ~ or a dip in the Ocean

Bury them in the earths soil under the Moon (my favorite way ~ the crystalline figures get so vibrant after a night in soil and under the moon!)

Fire 

Smuding (with sage)

Full Moon Cleanse ~ place under a Full Moon for some POWERFUL energy! One is coming up :) JULY 15TH FULL MOON

Also I have to tell you all of this ;

I was crafting some Wee One furniture in my living room the other day, where we don't have much light except for my bee lights I have hanging and candles. I had clusters of Citrine and I had placed on on the Wee One's Chair and bed I had made. I remember what it looked like, it was beautiful and orange and white and clear. I was cleaning the other day and took a peek at it, only to see that the inside of the crystal had formed black and purple crystalline figures that looked like specks of stars and beauty. (You know when they get energized they form more crystalline figures; inclusions; that formed inside). Well…. theres no sunshine for them to be energized inside, nor a moon. Nor a light, or anything really. I believe this was a wee one visiting its furniture I made for them… eh? :) What are your thoughts?

(PS : I am aware of how inclusions are typically formed and grow, but this was not induced by any change in temperature, minerals or energies that would cause a typical inclusion ~ as I had it for several months in my home at the same spot for it was just until I placed the Faes furniture near it! It was simply placed on the Faes bed as a gift)

Faecat – How old are you? It'll get better once you're old enough to do your own thing. My parents never approved of this stuff as well. I got my Pagan stuff taken away many times. It's hard, but when you move out and finally have your own life, your mother will have no choice but to accept you for who you are.

Merfairie – I never actually used the wand in my magic work before. But I have been thinking about using it lately, I just have to charge it first. I was thinking I'd wait till the full moon which is only a couple of days away.
