Hi everyone,

I have some more questions, I think thats about all I do on here is ask questions. Sorry…

1.  Well I read somewhere that fairies don't like plastic, is this true?

Because I put all the fairies food and drink on\in old plastic dolls plates and cups, should I be using something different?

If so what can I use, or even make plates and cups out of? Please give me ideas :)

2. I have made a new friend and about a week ago she came over to my house for the day, but I didn't want her to know that I beleive in fairies(i know what your thinking -_-") so I took down the indoor fairy house, but I kept the fairy statues out and my stones, as well as a table I made, with a cup(fairy sized) of milk on the small table, will the fairies hate me because I did that? :(

I felt really bad when I did take it down, and I regret it now…

Thanks, I would be REALLY greatful for some help\answeres :)

I dont know what the others think, but personally I dont think the faeries will mind as long as you put the house back up after your friend left. But I guess if your still unsure someone else could answer that for you.

Hmm, well you could set out food for them on small leafs or pieces of wood that you may have found, thats probably the most natural you can get about it. If you decide to use something metallic, do not under any circumstance use iron or put it near iron, because they hate that stuff. Another option could be something made of clay or glass.

^ But I dont know for sure either if they mind plastic or not. I think they might just think negatively of it because its not a natural object, but I doubt it would keep them from visiting you/accepting the offerings to them.

I think more than anything they might be a little confused. But as long as you apologize and explain it to them I don't think they'll be angry with you at all. They definitely won't hate you. You've been kind to them and I'm sure this is not something big enough to require any dislike whatsoever! I don't think they mind plastic, but glass or ceramic is probably better.

Thanks for the answers! I really am greatful! I think I may have a small ceramic plate in my room somewhere, so i'll use that for their food, and\or a peice of wood, that was a great idea! And i'll have to find something else to use as a cup, but for now they will have to stick with the plastic cup until I can find something else…

I didn't put the house up straight away, as I didn't really get time -_-

So as an apologiy, I am in the prosess of making another house out of an easter basket, as it is almost easter(well, next month…) and I made a reaf thing out of dried corn leaves, feathers, ribbon and this wire that is all earth friendly, after a while(not sure how long…a few months to a year or more I suppose) it will break down and disinagrate, it's mainly used for tieing plants up outside, but I stole(kidding, I did ask first hehe) some of it from my mums huge and very heavy box of gardening things :)

I'll also explain what happened, and apologise….a few…..hundred times(What? I feel bad for doing what i did…) to the fairies :)

Thanks again!

As for the first question I'm afraid I dont know anything about that! :(

As for the second, I dont think the fairies will be mad at you. I completely know how you feel, I havent told anyone about my beliefs, because I know my friends wont agree with me, so I dont see any point in doing it. Plus the fairies might be greatful that you are wanting to protect them from a somewhat unknown person, thats how I see it. Who knows, maybe you'll get to know her better and discover she shares the same belief as you? That would be nice wouldnt it?

Yes, the first time he saw a piece of shiny, transparent plastic from our side (through Susan), he was very fascinated it.  He also loves the metallic Gelly Roll Gel pens by the way – he can't get enough of that either! :)

Now, I'm not sure how pixies feel about plastic–they probably don't mind it at all  but I would guess that they might prefer natural materials so if I was offering something, I would probably go with what B121 said.

Iron is very bad. Cold Iron can kill a fae. Its like a poison. Being around iron wll make a fae sick, especially older fae.

Which is why fae used bronze instead of iron during their battles, because it would kill themselves not just the enemy. At least some political peeps had common sense.  :P
