You know it's amazing just how much is made of steel and iron. I don't think I can get completely away from it for this area and its very frustrating. Here's the scoop. The garden has a building which I posted a pic of somewhere thats being converted into a studio/ ritual area and a place to start plants ect. I need to heat it. Winters are long and hard here, the place is insulated and there's no reason why it shouldn't be used year round once the structural repairs are done. I have a chimmney and outlet for a wood stove which is the best way to heat around here because its the only thing that cuts the brutal cold we get in winter. I'll back with electric when plants are being started in February. The only thing is woodstoves have to be cast iron. It's the only thing that is available and complient with fire regs here. The ceramic firepits cannot be rigged to work indoors and I have to use galv steel for the pipes for the firecodes. There isn't room for a brick fireplace there and It would require significant masonry work which I don't know how to do. I can't help but think it would be nice for them to have a private place away from the cold and snow.
I guess I'll have to do it and hope they understand. I don't know what else to do.
