Returning my lost ring

About a month or so back I was wearing one of my favorite rings. It was gold with an emerald(I think). It was given to me by my great aunt and it had a lot of sentemental value. Well I got something on my hand in my front yard (water, I think) and tried to flick it off. Well, I did, sending my ring flying across the yard in the process. I searched for it for days but I was never able to find it. It occured to me that the faeries may have liked the ring and taken it, thinking it had been abandoned. I really want my ring back and I was hoping they could help get it back to me. I have an amethist pendant that I got for my headaches and I was thinking that maybe if I left it for them with a note they might get my ring back to me. The only problem is I can't leave it outside because of wildlilfe and it's still too hot to leave any windows open. Can they get inside even if the windows and doors are closed?

If I were just a faerie small, I'd take a leaf and sail away, I'd sit astride the stem and guide it straight to Faerieland and stay. ~Ben Johnson

Yes,they will be able to get it with the windows and doors closed, although it's best to leave it outside just to make sure.

Try leaving something else, like food , treats or evens sugar water for them. Don't worry if an animal drinks/eats it, because it may just be a fae in disguise. Try leaving something that won't harm animals though. Honey should be good, bread too.

Tell the fae in your mind to give the ring back too, and that they are allowed to have the treats. Tell them how important it is to you, and they will most likely understand.

How do I know if there are even any fae around to hear my thoughts?

I'm pretty sure they would be able to hear.If they did do that on purpose as a trick, they would probably stay close to see what happens.

You don't need to hide your jewelry , just ask them not to take it. they would most likely not.

hey hey,
I'm sure they could!
But…. You can't leave your necklace outside because of wildlife? (what about the ring?)

Well… Fae, of course, love to take shiny things.

So… maybe you should ask for it back?
They took one of my mom's lockets awhile ago, real gold, from her jewelry, and never gave it back! *blink*

And, yes, they can get inside.
You could always leave food (:

DakotaRisingMoon has some good suggestions!
