Is it alright to put your gifts to fairies, and bright colored ribbons in a TREE? because my tree is in my parent's garden, and roses grow up the wall, and lady bugs are very common in one of the bushes. And there's snapdragons. And daisies, and every spring we replant some flowers. So can I just as well, put the gifts in that area, since it is most likely to attract some fairies?

Ribbons are nice but you have to make sure to remove them in the fall. The trees expand each spring and the ribbons can cut into the bark.  Traditionally ribbons represent prayers … sometimes to the sidhe sometimes to the spirit of the Tree.

I'm sure they'd LOVE if you put their gifts in the tree! They love nature so I think that would make them very happy :)
