ive never heard of them till recently when i came back to this site so id like to know what they are please :) sorry if this is a silly question but it sounds like its worth knowing?

Two possible meanings I can think of – one is an actual door for a fairy house. If you're interested in building a fairy house and would like a nice fairy door you can buy ready-made ones online. The other is a gateway to the Otherworld. They say faery mounds are a gateway, as well as some areas, buildings and monuments.
