I have come across a number of these "Ask a Faeire" websites and naturally I've been a little skeptical and cautious with this idea but perhaps it is really real (or not)?

(For those who don't know what they are basicaly there's is a list of fae names and you can choose one and email him/her with any question you want and he/she will reply to you)

I would just like to know what everyone else has to say on the matter and what they think of them?

Thanx!:)

I have never came across one before. But have you tried one?
If I came across, I would tried it. Doesn't mean I'll believe everything he/she said.

Hmmm I'm afraid I dont think those would be real. It would just be too easy for a person to pretend to be a fairy, make up an email and answer you. Although they are probably well researched so I'm sure they could teach you a thing or two you didnt already know, but other than that I personally dont think they are a real fairy.

If they were real faeries they wouldn't need the internet to communicate with people. I don't know why people pretend to be faeries, it's silly really. Maybe they're delusional?

Besides who's ever heard of a fairy that uses a computer or technology to communicate? I mean that fairy would have to be barking mad, loopy, crazy to pull that one off. Hell that's an idea that Dreamworks would come up with for their next animated film. (sighs) And I can just see it now "Fantasy gone wrong" starring Megan Fox, Lady Gaga and Zac bloody Efron.

Like I said have you ever heard of a fairy using a computer before? No and besides fairies don't use technology and from what I've heard they don't like it and would rather stay away from it rather than use it.

Thats exactly what I was thinking.

The only  way in which it could be vaguely plausible is that they are working through a medium but I don't know…

I think it is actually quite possible-   the Faery that do work with humans are very aware of the internet and modern things.

I'ts not like they actually sit on a keyboard and type away replies-  but they do work through humans who are willing to relay their replies back.   I'm not saying all of these "ask a faery" websites are legitimate, but  some I've seen do give me a good feeling that they may just be.

I'd like to take a look at it : )

In my own opinion about this, i do not believe that the fairy would reply you back right away your answers using this computer technology. Instead, the fairy dictates human mind as we are surrounded with spiritual beings …Often they pass through a "Medium". But as we are aware of, lot of tricky things can de done over the internet. So we should have our second thought about it…….just be cautious coz' sometimes it will influence us (i mean the site you are browsing to). Thats all!Cool

@Spirit of nature: What a site??!!!—->>>http://faefolk.blog.com/ask-a-faerie/

Content of the site home page:

_____________________________________________________________________________________________

Ask a Faerie

Contact a Faerie

As a medium (an individual who can communicate with spirits), I have
always been in contact with the faeries.  Now it’s your turn!  E-mail a faerie of your choice from the list below and receive a response from that faerie,
hot off the keyboard.  Please be polite though, as many faeries can be
easily offended; so make sure you thank them!  Your e-mail will be kept
confidential, unless you indicate so in your e-mail or in the contact
form below.

How to choose the right faerie to contact

Close your eyes, take at least three deep breaths, in through your nose
and out through your mouth.  In the solitude of your mind, ask your
question, then ask who the best faerie would be to answer your
question.  Open your eyes when you’re ready and look at the screen.
Which ever faerie’s e-mail you looked at initially, the one you are most
drawn to, is the one you should e-mail your question to.  But hey, if
there’s two that you fancy, e-mail them both!  Faeries love mail, and
they love to be popular even more!

Fangle, the “modern” pixie: fangle@faeriefolkies.com

Kinny, the “regular-type” pixie: kinny@faeriefolkies.com

Hurney, a goblin: hurney@faeriefolkies.com

Floria, a flora faerie: floria@faeriefolkies.com

Henry, a giant: henry@faeriefolkies.com

Bimble, the “sloshy” sad faerie: bimble@faeriefolkies.com

Leery, a house faerie: leery@faeriefolkies.com

Neener, a brownie: neener@faeriefolkies.com

Ayk, an oak man: ayk@faeriefolkies.com

IMPORTANT! Please Note:
The faeries can often be unpredictable, and they tell the truth even if
it’s hard to hear, so please be aware of this if you choose to e-mail a
faerie.  Some may be more brutal than others, and I cannot guarantee a
certain type of response, nor can I be held responsible for any
correspondence you may receive from the faeries.  What I can guarantee
is that the response you receive, is the response you need to hear at
this point in your life and on your particular path and journey.

Also, your e-mail address will ONLY be used to e-mail you the
faerie’s response. Your e-mail address will not be used in any other
way. Trust me, we hate spam too!

Would you like to receive your answer faster?
Then please donate any amount through the donate button on the right
hand side of the page.  A donation helps me set aside time to answer
your question, which I would otherwise be spending working to generate
my income. Learn more …
