I dont know if this is a silly question, but I thought I'd give it a try anyway!

My sketchbook has been missing for ages, and its really really important, I'll need it in my portfolio if I want to get into art school; and I cant find it anywhere! It has 2 years of work in there! I' ve been panicking a lot, and I've searched every inch of my house. I simply thought I'd missplaced it, or maybe someone through it out, but then the idea occured to me, could it be fae? I know they are known for taking things and hiding them, would they take this sort of thing? If so what should I do to try and get it back? Thanks! :)

1. How the heck did you fit 2 years' worth of artwork into one sketchbook? Rofl. I guess my drawings are more sporadic and half of them never get finished, and that's why I've filled three in the past year and a half…

2. Yes, I think the Fae took my mother's house keys before we moved and before I believed in them; we searched the whole house and never found them, not to mention we've moved since and still they haven't been located…

3. I think the best thing to do would be to draw something especially for them, or leave out some sort of offering just for them, and write a note/ask verbally/ask mentally if they would please give it back if they have it, or if they would help you find it.

It seems to me they may have used Glamour on it to hide it from you for fun, or may have taken it because they liked the pictures. :3

And as for 2 and 3, thank you! I hadnt actually thought they may have liked the pictures, it hadnt occured to me but now that you say it it really does make sense! Glamour…I think I will try your drawing a picture for them idea, Im sure its worth a shot! ;)

It is very likely that they could have taken it. They always like to hide sewing stuff, makeup, and shiny things, especially when I need them! I find it's usually enough to politely ask them to return the missing item(s), or at least help you to find them. Although I do like Summer's idea of drawing them a picture, too :]

Okay thank you! Its very reassuring that its quite possibly the fae thats hidden it. I just spoke a quick speech asking them nicely to give it back….we'll see how it goes! :D
