Could they possibly have heard me?

Hello everyone :) This happened Easter weekend but I forgot to post it.

So anyways, my family as well as some of my cousins came up to the family cabin for the weekend.

Within the first day my uncle lost his iphone. We searched EVERY inch of the house as well as along the beach out front. Three days went by with constant searching and nothing, we couldn't find it.

Their family left a day before ours, and so we promised we'd keep looking for the phone and let him know if we found it. (We didn't have very high hopes.)

So on the last day I went out back and asked the fae if they had taken the phone, ensuring them I wasn't mad but if they had it could they please find a way to give it back.

A couple hours later we were loading up the car to leave and one of our neighbors from down the beach flagged us down to show us she had my uncles phone (she knew it was his because she'd been at the party the night he lost it)

Anyways the phone was obviously broken as it had washed up on her beach a few houses down meaning it had spent a good amount of time in the ocean.

So to the point now; do you guys think the fae could possibly have listened? Maybe they didn't mean to break it but wanted to help by finding it for us?

Any opinions would be appreciated!

It is possible they could have been listening. I have a friend who the fae constantly tease and mess with some of her possesions. Perhaps they heard you and somehow brought it back to you.

They could have been listening, Jolly Rancher!  Especially since you asked them nicely too :-)

I had that happen with the house key that was attached to my car keys.   I mysteriously lost my old set of car keys last year- the one that the Faery borrowed the first time, but had re-appear on my car trunk one day .    Well this last time, the keys are missing again- and i'ts been almost a year now and I have never found them.     I asked the Faery if they could please return my house key, as I don't have a spare for that, and really need it.   Guess what happened?    I found the housekey detached all by itself placed neatly in my desk drawer (where it had not been before) as though the Fae just detached it from the keychain and placed it there after I asked them :-)
