I am totally new here but thought id give this site a try and see what others think about some things that go on around myself and my family. I dont even know where to begin. I used to be skeptical about things that are not tangible however over the years I have experienced what some might view ask craziness, but I cannot deny that these things happen. I am a natural empath and I believe I am psychic. I only wish I could figure out the mystery of my dissapearing items. I have had many encounters with spirits but this blue orb that both myself and my 7 year old daughter saw in our kitchen last year has left us stumped and, I do not feel it was a spirit energy presence. We have lived in this house for 3 years. Spirit activity has followed me all of my life. However, one night my daughter and I both heard a loud crack as if a bat struck a baseball in our kitchen. We both turned to look toward the direction that the sound had come from and saw a bright almost royal blue light in a circular shape, fly through the air and across the ceiling and then, it vanished. We both talked about what we saw and decided we witnessed the same thing. Months later, I noticed items in my home that were missing. Simple things that I had dismissed as, "misplaced". My husband had commented that his favorite shirt was missing one afternoon. After months of searching everywhere, he went into the closet one day, and to our suprise, it was hanging in MY clothes. A place it would never be. A few weeks later, I purchased some snacks for my daughter and, (one thing in particular that she really liked) a box of basically snack cakes that id put on top of the refridgerator was missing only moments after placing it there. She asked me for one and as I reached for it (im short and cannot see on top of the refridgerator)I realized it wasnt there. I stood on a stool and looked and, the entire box had some how vanished. Bewildered by this, my daughter who, realizes her mother knows many things that most people dont, asked me what spirit I thought had taken them. She is aware that a few spirits talk to me and has interacted with them. We both sort of dismissed the issue and I assured her that they would turn up, even though I myself had no idea where they went since I had no "feelings" that is was spirit activity. Months later, my favorite eyeliner went missing. I was about to use it, when I walked into the bathroom (where I had just left the item) and it was gone. I assumed I had mispaced it and since then reorganized my room and never has it turned up. A few weeks ago I took off two of my favorite silver necklaces and hung them on a peg in the bathroom. About a week later they were gone. I frantically searched my jewelry box and my entire house. I looked everywhere. One of them meant a lot to me.  A couple of days ago, my daughter and I made sock puppets. Fay, my daughter, asked me for a box to put them in. Almost immediately after I gave her the box, she set it on a table in the living room. She literally turned around and saw that the box was gone. These are just SOME of the recent things that have happened. I was not in the least bit suprised when I read on this site, that fairies like shiny things and like to play tricks. I should mention that I read that they love 4 leaf clovers and, basically, nature items. Well, I have 3, four-leaf clover tattoos, (my husband is Irish) and I have flower tattoos and nature all over my body. I also have in my home, many herbs and outside I have many plants that I JUST read, fairies are attracted too. Not to mention Shiny irridescent stones outside. I guess my biggest question is, How can I communicate to them that id like my things back? And am I attracting them to me? Anyone with some insight would be very much appreciated. I am losing my mind with things going missing. Thanks ~Flora

First of all welcome again to the forums, I just posted on your intro post :)

Second of all, I love your daughters name! How very appropriate for a fae believer as yourself.

Anyways, I'm quite astonished by all the things you've just described! They are so spooky in an interesting way and nothing like the experiences of missing things that I've had.

The blue orb sounds beautiful, I've never myself seen any sort of fae face to face so I must say I'm jealous of that experience you and your daughter share. It must be great for a mother and daughter to bost share that belief.

Ohhh I share the same experiences sometimes. I was actually about to post about all of my snacks going missing before I read your post.

Sooo… you're not alone. :P

But, you just have to ask them to give your things back, or not take them.

(preferrably nicely… they like to play pranks!)

If you don't have them, maybe you should leave out some food for them in the garden, and/or the house,

and have a fairy house (mine is like a bird-house that i painted and glittered up, and for the house AND supplies only costed around 14 dollars)

They particularly like shiny things, the small and big fae, elven, pixies, etc… (which you'll see on this website)

When all of your wishes are granted, many of your dreams will be destroyed…

you must be a natural psychic or medium which you might have passed down to ur daughter psychic abilities are inherited through family members like how some get blue eyes etc. whell the blue orb could be spirit or fae letting you knoe that its there but the recent activity does sound fae like. ive seen quite a few colorful orbs almost everyday once something was knocked of the shelf and i was all alone but it wasnt in a harsh manor iys was like gently pushed off just letting me know it was there yeas sometimes you do need to set boundries for them i do  also maybe you should leave a plate of sweets just for them so they dont take your daughthers also just case you might want to say fae with good intentions can be here while fae with bad intentions cant just in case

Well thank you Jollyrancher36 for the warm welcome and reply to this post. I am also very thrilled at my experiences, and yes it is a beautiful thing to share with my daughter. Ya know what I realized today? My daughter is also very much attracting the fae. She collects Fairy statues and has fairy posters but I never really put all that together in my mind. Neat;) .

SaranelTonight that is a brilliant idea. I am totally going to make a little house for the garden. Perhaps I can leave them their own snacks so they wont take mine. Good to know im not alone on that hehe.

Very cool Master_Iris that you see orbs as well. I am still not 100% on what I saw. I am totally going to make an attempt to befriend whom ever is swiping my things lol. Yes apparently they want me to know they are around. I left a note and a silver pendant shaped like a shamrock on a table for them. I hope they take it. Will have to keep you all posted on how it goes. Yes we do seem to have a psychic ability in our family and my husbands fathers family is from Ireland so their is a sense of fantasy in the idea that the fae could be attracted to us. Thanks so much for the advice everyone. I said aloud last night that, even if they dont return my things, I will still attempt to befriend them and leave things for them. I want them to feel somewhat safe with my family if that is possible.Smile

Iris' post made me think of something. I wonder if there is an identifiable "pyschic gene." Something that could be found in D.N.A. to help find above average natrual ability. Of course all humans have some potential but some seem to have it more than others. Food for thought.

Hi mysteria l'amour!   Welcome to Real Faeries first of all

and I think it does truly seem to me that you have Faer or Pixie Beings in your home.       How you can get your things back is to just find it in your heart to tell these Beings they can just have them- out of love to them.     Also  put out some nice things for them and make it known it's a gift for them — just because.

If you let the items go and sever your souls' attachement to them, they may then decide to give them back.  Otherwise, just know that they put the item to good use.

I've had my keys snuck away by them then after I told them that I loved them and wanted them to have the keychain (it had a nice chunky quartz crystal on it)   — one day after I was picking up garbage along the side of the road, when I went to open my car trunk to put the garbage bag in,   there was the keychain dangling on the side of the trunk!—   and there was no way it had been placed there before by myself either.

Now , again, that same keychain mysteriously dissapeared–   and I havnt seen it since (going on over 1 year now)    I needed my housekey that was on it, and I asked the Fae if they could help me get the housekey back.    You won't believe this- but when I opened my desk drawer –there was the house key right in front of me and it wasnt there before–  it had been taken off of the key chain by the  Fae after they heard me ask them if I could have it.     They still have the quartz crystal though — but that's okay-  I know they must be putting it to good use in energy healing outside somewhere that needs it.

The more you give the Faery,  don't be surprised to find little gifts they will give you back.   Put food out for them,    ask them how you could make the place a refuge for them too.    The pixies are just so fun loving too-

They are empaths also you know-  which is part of the reason why they feel comfortable around you too since you're an empath.    You know that feeling that you get when you are out in the woods or gardens somewhere?  Like a playful cheery feeling?  That's their presence out in the Wild having a blast and doing what they do best for Nature.

God love them :-)

They do like to borrow things, though I don't mind the studio is kinda free game for them anyway. I saw that blue before. This was in a  lucid dream though never seen anything like it physically. When she appeared she had a dark complexion and was stockier than I would expect. Her eyes were the same color as blue. I just got a glimpse. It's not a good idea to stare a sidhe down in the eyes.

Interesting note I left the fairy houses out for the winter. All are totally intact. One still is mostly covered with snow. We had about 5 ft on the ground most of the winter and over 7-8 ft I think in back there based on what I'm seeing for the meltoff.

Go outside

Well, everyone has contributed such excellent advice that I have almost nothing new to add! :) Many of the things you are experiencing, including the orbs, happened to my sister Susan and I early on and truthfully, it took us a while to realize that it was some type of fae and the purpose was to get our attention.

When I look at what you are experiencing, it seems like typical (if there is such a thing!) pixie interaction. They are fun loving and do like the occasion prank, for sure. This is the type of thing that they seem to do when they are trying to connect with you and make you aware of their presence.  It's kind of cute but losing one's things all the time–especially essential things like keys (or glasses, in my case) can really get old. We found it helpful to talk out loud to them and acknowledge their presence while firmly asking for the item back. Sometimes it helps to tell them why you need the item back but over time we got a bit frustrated and just said loudly "put it back!" and that seemed to work like a charm. :)
