hi JollyRancher!
I'm not familiar of any specific- but thats' not to say there isnt a special area- I'll have to research it more
Regarding the Cottingly Faery area- there actually have been faery sightings in that same area — I would say perhaps in the 1990's. I recently read of a man who was cutting the grass on the Cottingly property who saw some small non-winged elven beings just standing near some trees looking at him– He was taken aback as he doesnt particularly believe in faeries and the unseen.
Everywhere there are wild places there is going to be faeries around- and in British Columbia there are alot of beautiful wild areas from what I understand. Even if you put a garden in your property and give it over to the faery kind- and actually announce it out loud to them when outside- that it is all for them- dont be surprised to find a faery presence enter there- and you may even suddenly get a mushroom ring or two!
I live in Pennsylvania- and there is no traditional faery area where I live– still I saw that faery face to face- and she was in my BATHROOM!!! she rested in my hair and was looking at me with the morning sunlight shining through the window. I did have the screen up on the window that month- to let the fresh air in- so she could have come in from outside – or she could have been a "house Brownie" but she was absolutely beautiful– and no faery expert would have ever thought my little area had faeries!!
hugs
