I wouldn't trust a trrot reading unless you did it yourself.

You can talk to them. They are a quiet  and shy people as a rule so they do not answer unless they have something important.   

We all have fairy ancestory, Even specific families are known to be descended from elves and such.   Fairies to not die and on the rare occasion where they do, they would naturally move up to higher realms. Where we live is a lower plane they're not going to go back here anymore than we would go into the demonic realms. Exceptions would be rare I think. I am cautious on this matter. I think it could be contrieved as a inappropriateness on their part, like saying someone is a reincarnated monkey. to make the assumption they would come back as one of us is putting us as equal creatures and this is not the case they are older and higher than we are. Many are the children and grandchildren of Gods and Goddesses.

I noticed that spirits tend to stick with their families when guiding.  This is probably the case that your being called by one of your ancestors who wants to guide  you.
