I'm thinking about casting a spell to lift the veil (for me) and I was wondering if anyone knows what type of herbs I should use?
What herbs are good for this type of spell?

I don't quite understand what you mean by that. But I can't imagine how it is possible to just do it for you. I would think it is is thinner in someplaces than others but that depends on how strong belief is there.

I mean like lift the veil from MY eyes, third eye, whatever you want to call it. I assume it would take a lot of magic to thin the veil in an area. That's why I just wanted to lift it from me.

I agree that you probably can't lift the veil but I know that the herb Damiana does help to strengthen the communication between the two worlds. I know because we have used it here (since we sell it and wanted to test it out) and it does work to enhance communication.

I do however, believe that it's possible to open your third eye using magic. Especially since we're nearing 2012… If it doesn't work now, I'll try it again towards the end of 2012, when magic will probably be more accessible.

Yes, I agree it is possible to open your third eye – I thought you meant the veil…
I really do think Damiana – which you can probably get at a local new age type store, could be helpful.

Yes, we do use a blend of sage, mugwort and damiana which worked really well.

@Natalie – How do you use those herbs? Do you make sachets with them, or burn them as incense, or…?
@stellar – There are also certain yoga exercises you can do that help open up your chakras, and the ones that help with the third eye chakra seem to help with seeing auras, at least. I've been working with a couple of the easier ones from The Yoga Bible which seem to be slowly helping me (when I remember to do them ^^;;) . You might also find them helpful. :)

Well, we used something like 2 parts damiana to 1 part sage and 1 part mugwort but I would go with what feels right to you.

I usually use crystals (quartz and genesa) whenever I am doing something like this but in this case, since it was just a quick test, I didn't and yet we found it to be really effective.

How did this spell go because my brother and I made one, but didnt use any herbs or crystals and it didn't work.
