I plan on buying as much land as I can when I'm older just for the fae. I'm going to live on that land and I'm going to live a life that the fae would live similarly. I plan on haveing a HUGE fae garden with all the flowers and trees and herbs they like. I'm buying the land just for the fae and I will nourish the land and nourish the fae.

Honestly I don't know. I want to do something that will allow me contact with nature and animals. A wildlife vet? I want to learn veternary medicine but I also want to help nature. I have NO idea, just that I'm going to live in the country no matter what.

That sound wonderful! You could be a farm veterinarian :) i don't know if that is the proper name for it but i know there is a vert dedicated to specifically helping farm animals. My dad is a cat and dog veterinarian, but he has told me before when he went through vet school that there was the option to become a vet who lives in the country and tends to horses, cows, pigs etc.

Yeah Jolly it's a large animal vet. I do love horses! I'm also thinking on doing something on the side like aromatherapy with my plants. I have wanted to be one a while ago, maybe I should revisit it?

@iluvdance Thank you for your kind words. I do believe that I'm ment for something like that when I'm older.

Your idea is quite interesting. As well as respected. As you are choosing to respect the home of what you live.

It won't just be my home but a sanctuary for the fae. I plan on building a house also on that land (not trees will be harmed) and I plan on no TV, Dishwasher, or washer and dryer I decided to hand wash my clothing and air dry it. I love the thought of just living a life forever connected to nature.

It can be quite tough to live as such, To me it is well worth it though. Though i dont live this way atm  i will again soon enough and i wont have it any other way. Also i wasnt meaning your home by just the land you purchase but by the way your are choosing  for all of our home as Earth. As you will take forth more than just choosing to take care of just your own land.

FaeKittyCat! I love this :)

SOLAR POWER!

:)

So awesome and amazing! THAT can be your renewable source of energy!

As for water, live near a body of water and your set for life!

Create a pit for fire and solely for cooking!

You need a journal! Take notes and keep adding to it :) Don't ever lose sight of this dream, its incredible. And I'll be your neighbor ;) I'm about 50% there with this lifestyle already ~ when I purchase the land, oh its on!

Get a Natural Healing book, learn how to make your own soaps, cleansers, and herbal medicine. Learn to sew! So you can create your own things! Learn to cook from plants in the wild, and have a garden filled with bountiful fruits and vegetables!

I think that you should live in either a hobbit hut, yurt, or tipi.

And create Human Nests in trees!

So exciting!

" The most beautiful thing we can experience is the mystical. It is the source of all true art and science. If we open our minds to enjoyment, we will find tranquil pleasures spread about us on every side. We will live with the angels that visit us on every sunbeam, and sit with the faes who wait on every flower."

lol thats the thing though technology takes away so much. Yes most think of how it betters them selves but in reality its not. Most humans loose much connectons with not only with nature also with each other. Most seem to communicate threw technology. that isnt truely connecting to anything.

@iluvdance Thank you. I do feel by the time I live by myself i will be able to let go of some tech, but some of it I feel I'll need. Like I'll need a profession so I think I'll need a phone and a laptop. I want to get a victorian house that I layout myself.

@Merfairie Now I will need to keep a more modern living style. Like I will need to get an eco friendly car and a phone and a laptop so I can keep a profession. I do want to make a pond for my fae garden so I can use that. I'm going to hold you up to that plan of neighborsLaugh. Maybe I will have a cooking pit. I don't want to get AC or a heater. man the guys who'll build my house are going to be weirded out!Laugh As I said above I want a victorian style house, but plumbing will be an issue……. maybe some plumbing work but not much. I do like your ideas and will think about them fully!

@Bluetiger I fully agree with what you said about tech taking away our sense of nature. I often look at litter on the ground while in my car and just have such an erge to pick it up but unable to without upsetting my mom. I believe that time and cyber space are just man made illusions ment to control. I actually saw an episode of Through the worm hole that talked about time being an illusion. I agree with that theroy. Before clocks people focused on the sun and innerclocks to tell them when to get up and go to sleep.

beautiful idea but just remember, to spread the wealth and be selfless spreading love all along the way (not just monetary), no land can truly be bought nor sold or owned at all, and this goes against the fairy way as well, the Earth and indeed the universe, is  for us all to share,

this is the message that Caer has given us

http://i55.tinypic.com/nbsvm1.jpg

an Earth Goddess, many names, "I belong to no one, but share meself with all!"

blessed be, and remember, even though plans change all the time, all is right in the sequence of events ;)
