That is so sad :-(

Well, you can be sure that though this baby bird died–  his little soul will be reborn again in another future baby bird.

I'm so sorry. At least BB is passed on and not suffering. Chances are it was knocked out of the nest somehow, seeing as it has no feathers and it doesn't even look like its eyes were opened. Sometimes it happens on accident, because the babies will be wiggling around and one will flop out. Is there a tree anywhere near by? Poor baby :(

I know you; I walked with you once upon a dream.
I know you; The gleam in your eyes is so familiar a gleam.
Yes, I know it's true that visions are seldom all they seem.
But if I know you, I know what you'll do.
You'll love me at once, the way you did once upon a dream.

Hi nemo, I used to find undeveloped baby birds all the time growing up on the farm. I once found three that were all together and still alive..so i made them a little grass bed and put them in it, and covered all but their heads with grass and watched them for hours hoping they would get better, but they all died. I didnt know they had to be fed and watered! My cat waited with me and didnt try and eat them. My mum said sometimes the baby birds were sick and the mothers would push them out of the nests because there was really nothing they could do to help them and I do believe this is true.  Rest in peace little baby bird.

Bek.

i believe when i am in the mood that all nature is full of people whom we cannot see, and some of them are ugly and grotsque, and some wicked and foolish, but very many beyond any one we have ever seen, and that these are not far away….the simple of all
