Sounds pretty creepy regardless of what it is.  I put this in another post too but I think it's buried. Anyway, handling negative spirits. Destructive spirits feed on the energy humans give off when they're afraid angry or depressed. If they find someone who tends to feed these types of emotions, they tend  to hang out. They do everything they can to induce these emotions. Unseelie have a more specific motive than just a energy meal though, they do this with the intention of destroying their victim, that is when they choose to interact with a human. This includes fear of the demon or unseelie itself. The fear you have of the entity is feeding it. It is attracting you close and making you afriad for an easy meal.

The solution to this is simply stated but immensely difficult to do. You cannot allow these emotions to prevail in your mental climate, but you also cannot bury them or ignore them. So acknowledge the feelings then intentionally replace them with positive affirmations. These should be simply stated and in present tense. Something like I see fairies as solid creatures that I can see hear and interact with.   thats just an example. A positive attitude will repel demons and unseelie, if they cannot get a meal of negative emotion off you they may make an effort to try to induce the emotions but if that doens't work they'll go elsewhere to fill their needs.  They will not stay in a place that has unfavorable conditions.

All the pentagrams, amulets talismans salt smudge brickdust or whatever will not help if you don't do this work.

While your doing that pick out something that symbolises this work. It can be anything from a rune to incense smudge or whatever to represent this change of mental attitude. It has to be something that you can trust  a hundred percent. The energy of this chosen object will protect you until your task is completed. So if it's incense light it say your affirmations when you smell it let it remind you of what your supposed to be doing. A rune  put it up trust the power it represents  when you see it remember what your doing. The focus here should not be on the negative energy but on the positive mental attitude. … This incense reminds me to keep a happy and positive outlook. Assume the repelling part is being done but don't allow much thought on it.

Now a word on smudge. Everyone seems to be hung up on white sage. You don't have to use white sage. There are dozens of herbs out there that are appropriate. They should be locally grown and preferably something in your immediate locality or garden.  Ask for help from the plant when you obtain the leaves or needles this is VERY important. You cannot have effective smudge that you bought at the store unless it's a living plant that you grow in your house or garden  ( preferably outside) . You have to have the help and blessing from the plant spirit. It would be best if you had a relationship with  the spirit before doing this. the leaves or needles do not have to be dried if you use a hot charcol.

Tobacco I mean the kind you've grown yourself not the storebought kind.

It's different because your growing them WITH that blessing.  My thought when I'm writing this was stuff you get at the grocery story that has been commercially grown just for profit.  If I bought something from our Sundancers it would be grown with the same thing in mind this is to make a blessing for others. I too will grow herbs if anyone else would like to benefit from them I'm sure there would be plenty. I don't think I  have enough space to profit and live from that profit though unless they show me something different.

What I am also encouraging is the relationship with plants who provide the blessing.  I'll give an example.  I have a friend in the midcoast US decides to try Ayuhuasca. Now according to Shamanic tradition certain fasts and rituals are to be observed 6 months before injesting the preparation. The preparation causes the practioner to see visions which are instrucitonal and given by the spirit of the plants involved. My friend doesn't observe the ritual peparation and sees nothing worth while and has a wicked upset stomach.  Now we live in the northern climes where these plants cannot naturally grow  we could grow them as houseplants but it would take many years before the plants could be utilized and that only if we have good lighting. Where I live in the winter we have only 6 hours of daylight at times…. not enough for a tropical plant and my house plants even need suplimentary lights. So what do you do. We could buy the dried herb from someone consciencious and growing it according to spirit instruction like you are Nat and we would have the benifit there of.   The connnection could still be made. It's not as good as doing it getting out there and connecting with the plants that you grow.  But considering the fly trap situation many people are in it's considerably better than what you get at Sobys

I agree with almost everything else you wrote to kreegaia and it was really good information.  The only thing that confused me a little bit was this: “All the pentagrams, amulets talismans salt smudge brickdust or whatever will not help if you don't do this work.”  See, I think the symbols inherently have power but I do agree that activating them (by gathering energy and directing that energy to the symbol with intent) does make them much more powerful.  In fact, the elves are currently teaching Susan and I to project the image  of a symbol at a target to get a desired result  and they wouldn't do that if the symbol itself didn't have some power to begin with.

But all in all, good post!

can I try projecting image like that like if i want to have someone speak the truth to me whille we are having a conversation i just project they symbol on them? srry off topic hmm I just trird projecting the protection symbol on the RF website so the negativity wont come in  Key word tried

That's pretty creepy right there. 

I once had a pretty nasty encounter with one unfriendly spirit. My experience wasn't particularly with unseelie, although it was bad because I had this terrible feeling. I never felt so helpless and hopeless in my entire life. I felt that way all that day since before I started dreaming and I couldn't understand why I felt so bad. I had no reason to feel miserable. It was just not good. I just couldn't shake off the negative feelings. It was pretty burdensome. That night, I dreamed that some dragon-like creature was trying to eat me. It had yellowish eyes. I remember being chased around my room and I was hiding in a corner. I saw it on top of my sleeping body. That's when a spirit friend of mine jumped in and spoke to it and somehow told it to stop. Seemed like a negotiation. Weird thing was that I dreamed of this during Halloween night (and it had to be a Monday out of all days). Sounds far-fetched, I know. Never really spoke of this much because of it. 

My spirit friend was alright. I saw him several times later in the dreamworld after that incident, although I haven't seen him in years now. He probably moved on to help out someone else.

You know, it might not have been Unseelie. Unseelie doesn't necessarily mean evil. I have a few unseelie faeries that tick around my house on a regular basis. The ones I have experience with are Fence-Sitters though. The dregs of the courts don't normally stop by my house.

 

It might have been a Fomorian, if nothing else. I've had some rather unpleasant experiences dealing with those. They're also particularly difficult to get rid of. But, what you've described sounds more like a Fomorian attack to me. However, I agree with everyone else: Sage, candles, pentagrams or personal sigils, salt and sometimes green tea can work. And take a salt bath.

P.S: If it ends up showing up outside of your dreams… Ignore it. The more you talk to it, the more power you're giving it.

Fence Sitters are fae who do not consider themselves part of either court, and follow no rules belonging to either court.

And its true. Not give the fae power by talking to it. Though dont ignore it. See if those things work first, and then try to confront it. But not aggressively. Ignoring the problem wont make it go away. But you can get help with the problem and salt bath or any of the above. Never go at it on your own. If you are going to face it, find someone who can help you.  Though it is hard, maybe you can find one of fae to help you.

You MUST know. Seelie and Unseelie are not good vs evil. It is ordered vs chaos. Seelie court follow a set of code rules, where unseelie follow their own rules but in relation to their own court. Seelie can be just as bad as unseelie can be. Do not mix the courts with the good vs evil or the moral vs no morals. It is each have their own set of morals, and human morals are not part of the codes. It is viewed as Chaotic in Unseelie courts, and Ordered in Seelie courts.
