This was when i was 12 and i had no idea that fae folk existed im now 16. I was at a lovely cottage house then something creepy was inside the house. It looked the elf from harry potter except much more smaller and it was brown with tons of wrinkles and an ugly scary mean face. It kept chasing me and trying to attack me and i felt a really negative vibe from it. I was soo irritated an upset that i guess i wanted to harm it before it went after my family. it was running away from me and the cottage went into a complete mess. i decided to sit a little and rest and wait till it came back. Unexpectedly, it scartched my ankle and it hurt and it felt soo deep i wanted to scream. I woke up and nothing was at my ankle but i still felt pain from my ankle and it felt soo real. I just need some ideas from what this meant this was a dream btw

Seems to me that unseelie just like to do stuff like this. They tend to try to scare humans away from the faerie realm and cause trouble whenever they can. If you haven't had any similar experiences since, I'd say that you're not being specifically targeted and tormented by them, and you should just do your best to only invite seelie/good fae into your home and presence.

Once upon a time, I thought faeries lived only in books, old
folktales, and the past. That was before they burst upon my life as
vibrant, luminous beings, permeating my art and my everyday existence,
causing glorious havoc. ~Brian Froud
