A kind of scary dream

i had this dream a while back and saw this topic, thought i'd share and see if anyone knows if it could be related to fairyies or elves. ( not blaming anyone, just curious as to everyone's opinions as to what caused it)

it took place in a clearing in the middle of a dark forest of dead trees. this clearing had bright green grass and a single, large, but pretty short tree in the middle. it was a third person dream. i saw my own body standing there, staring at the tree, mindlessly, as if in a trance. i turned to look at the tree, and saw a kind of doppleganger of me, with red eyes, and wearing darker clothes. it looked at me, not my body, me, and grinned, then the dream ended.

anyone got any ideas?

hmm…  the red eyes don't sound very nice..      What type of smile did you get? An evil or sarcastic smile?

Or a friendly smile?

Hm well it all depeneds what you were thinking of before you went of to sleep or what were you doing/watching before. If you cannot find any relation to what were you dreaming in real life… it could mean that what you were dreaming was an actual being… for the reasons why it appeared to you idk..

one solution that comes to my mind is… that maybe you were calling fairies to communicate with you in your dream and werent precise you want only the good fairies, with good intentions. or maybe when you were meditating you attracted something negative. idk just some of ideas that might solve your dream.

There is a way that nature speaks, that land speaks. Most of the time we are simply not patient enough, quiet enough, to pay attention to the story.

Sometimes a dream is just a dream, the bad one might seem worse but doesn't mean much and the one that didn't make any sense was a glimpse of something important.  Look you don't have to go far to find a doom and gloom prophecy and goodness knows we are not imortal and neither is the world we live in, we don't even know for sure that the otherworld and sidhe are imortal or if their fate is also tied to our world.  If you keep looking at that stuff your going to be depressed and loose hope. There is hope in spite of all that. I've been told this by both people and spirits that had much less reason to have hope and a positive attitude than I do.  Also keep in mind the teasy playful side of the sidhe they do like to play tricks and it takes some getting used to because they can really give you a start if your not expecting it. If this is the case it's probably not intended to hurt; just silliness. Think of the ambushing kitten. maybe it was just a red eye suprise. Another possibiity is a type of scrying mirror in the tree that shows your mixed natures as separate which I think would be kind of interesting.
