Hi everyone :)

Umm well about 2 years ago I had this dream:

I cannot really remember details only the basics so sorry…

My whole family (mum, dad, sisters and I) went to this place….it was kind of like caves and old buldings with pillers around them and stuff, everyone was wearing robes (Purple I think) but us, and there was this crystal ball thing that the….'leader' I suppose, was standing around, well all of a sudden the people in the robes started attaking us, we all ran in different directions to each other but (this is gross, sorry!) then the people in the robes started cutting peoples limbs off, I don't know if they did that to my family in the dream, I could not really see faces at this point, I kept running and running and I entered someones bedroom in one of the buildings, and there was someones bed but it looked like someone was in the bed so I moved the covers aside and there was someones arm in the bed…then I woke up.

It was a very strange dream as my family is never together like that, my sisters have moved out and my parents are divorced. The dream was very scary and I did not get much more sleep that night.

I also had a very scary dream little more that a week ago about people getting shot and blown up…but we don't need to go into that one…

Do you think that i'm just stressed when I dream stuff like that? Or could the first dream at least mean something, not many of my dreams mean anything, but I remember that one the most out of ALL my dreams…

If you have any tips for not dreaming gross stuff, that would be so so helpful, lol! :)

Thanks!

Don't watch horror movies before you sleep and pay attention to what your visual input is during the day. Are you playing video games? That might influence your dreams. It does sound like your stressed.   I have a recurring fight with my mother dream.  It randomly popps up and is uncharacteristically violent. It happens when I'm stressed.  Family members are safe people to blow off steam at for the most part. They're also the source of the most intense friction we experience … usually. Because of the intensity of the relationship with our families they're the ones that get the brunt of intense dreams.

I don't watch horror movies, I can't stand them, and I think the only video games I play are either about animals or skateboarding….

I think that mabye I dremt the last dream because of everything that is happening with Usama Bin Laden and people are saying that the pictures of him dead are very gross so I might have made an image of that in my head and then dremt about it….

Thanks for the information and tips! :D
