Sometimes while im sleeping i feel like my eyes are wide open and i can see in front of me. It doesnt seem like a dream it feels like im awake too but i can see in front of me. I dont know what this is exactly but i was wondering what anyone thought because its happen about 5 times now and mostly happens when i sleep in school or take a nap during the day. Next time this happens im going to try and look around other than just in front of me but its really wierd.

Maybe it is your mind's eyes or your third eye viewing stuff .

It could also be a sign of astral projection (but for me it's a bit different, I first feel myself leaving the body then my eyes become open)

I agree with the astral projection idea — maybe you're not projecting, but hovering above your physical body with your consciousness in your astral body. A common way to leave the body in AP is through the top of the head, so *shrug* do you ever leave this state? Like you drift off into sleep, or?

I know you; I walked with you once upon a dream.
I know you; The gleam in your eyes is so familiar a gleam.
Yes, I know it's true that visions are seldom all they seem.
But if I know you, I know what you'll do.
You'll love me at once, the way you did once upon a dream.

This happened to me a lot when i used to practice astral projection. Next time this happens try and move your arm. If your physical arm moves then it's you're third eye. If you see a sort of ghostly astral hand move, or you can't move your limbs then you are about to astral project.

thats crazy if i am acually astral projecting i dont know how im doing it, i think it happens whenever i feel randomly really really tired.
edit: and another thing, i dont think this is my 3rd eye because i have to remember what happend. i realized that it happend to me while sleeping like the night of when it happend in the morning. Something will usually make me remember.
