One night when I was sleeping, I woke up at about 3 am (I never wake up at this time). I looked ahead at the ceiling and there was a small face … it looked purple, and the face had asian eyes. I got a bit scared so I just closed my eyes hoping it would fly away.. I was too tired to even realise that what i saw was unusual and could be a fairy… after i closed my eyes i opened them again and across the room there apperaed a bright light. I closed my eyes again and feel asleep. I am so angry at myself that I didn't see exactly what it was. Does anyone have any idea what it could have been..? could it have been an asian fairy?
I heard that telling other people about their encounters with fairies gives a less chance to see them again, is it true?

I don't belive it is true that they woulld have a less of a chance of comeing again. It doesn't seem to make sense since if the fae bothered letting you see his/herself in the first place its a good chance that the fae is seelie and their goal is to spread the wrod about fae.

I think it was a fey, and it probably was getting the message out about faeries, as SirZachary said. :)

Hi! It seems to me you were definitely visited by a type of Faery Being- Even the one I encountered over 2 years ago had tilted wide-set eye. They will also appear in thier light form too- I agree with Floral Dreams and Sir Zachary–and dont think this Being minds that you are sharing it here- especially since we take the topic of the Faery very seriously on this website.
