I suppose I'll post just to show I'm not dead, though most of the time, I am. Inactive person is inactive. Ohh, well.

I decided to seek help for this. There is a reoccurring pattern in my dreams as of late- two or three dreams where this has happened, which is pretty odd. It's not like an actual reoccurring dream; this would probably make sense. No, it's actually one particular aspect of the dream, and I'm always in a completely different situation.

I cannot speak. Either I've lost my voice or come down with a mean case of spontaneous laryngitis, but in the dreams, I am unable to speak. I can manage mere whispers, and people in the dreams usually understand me, but I'm always afraid that my voice will 'go out like a candle' as they say.

It's queer that the loss of voice never seems to have a big impact in the dream. My dream last night was very strange (I won't go into details to save embarrassment), completely different from the other dreams in which this has happened, but again, I've lost my voice.

Thoughts on this? Surely I have theories myself, but I'd like to see what other people think before I come to a conclusion.

How to we plan to unite with other realms if we ourselves aren't united?

SAME HERE! and when i try to run i can only slow motion walk. Sometimes I have something freaky pod out of no where in my dream and then I wake up and feel all tingly or have pins and needles and it's like i can't scream i am so scared. it's weird.

To me this sounds like a psychological/symbolic dream; you aren't sure where you stand in society, hence your voice keeps changing. Perhaps in the dream your voice is how you represent yourself, and your representation of yourself isn't "stable", because in reality you haven't come into terms with who you are, or maybe you know who you are but haven't decided how to present yourself to others as of yet. The dream could also mean lack of self confidence, and the way that it's reoccurring is your subconscience telling you it's bothering you so it's something that needs to be worked on.

I think its sybolic, and I think its supposed to mean a loss of one the senses or something i'm not sure but still hoped it helped :)

I definitely think you're right. I've lately been pretty confused as to where I stand in the world, who I am, etc. I suppose that's normal for someone my age, but it's not fun. My personality continues to change and swing, because though I know who I am, knowing how to present that person is pretty hard. Thanks!

Awesome, I was pretty spot on!

And trust me, everyone goes through that struggle in their teens. It's a part of growing up. It goes away eventually!
