Hello all, I just have a few questions. I am planning on moving, but where to, I still don't know. All I know is that I'd love to move to a place where the veil is fairly thin. Or thinner than most other places.
At first, I was thinking maybe The Isle of Man, or some place in Europe where Faery lore is more commonly accepted, but now after finding out how much they get sprayed over there with chemtrails, I am definitely re-thinking this.
I may go to Peru instead. Jungles have always been enthralling to me, and I would LOVE to live there, in the Manu jungle or someplace near or in the Amazon rainforest. I know that chemtrails are being sprayed almost everywhere nowadays, but I think there is a lot less of that in South America. They pretty much just started in Peru, as far as I know. It may get worse, but I have a feeling that all the incredible rainforests will cleanse the air well enough. Well, anyway….
My dream place is a land which has fairly fresh air (from not being sprayed often), and a thin enough veil that I will be able to make contact with the Fae people, and other beings from the other realms.
I will make my dream a reality in whatever way I must, all I need to know for now is the WHERE.
Any ideas, anyone?
Natalie? Mr. E? Where do you think an ideal place to move to would be? I'm thinking natural and magical. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated! Thank you..!

For an entire area, the veil is currently thinnest in Iceland. The widespread acceptance of the existence of Elves in Iceland means the effects of their dimension are felt most readily there. That being said there are many small areas where the veil is very thin. Any area of ancient spiritual importance will be a place where the spiritual and physical realms are in closer connection. If Iceland doesn't appeal to you, look for ancient Pagan shrines or old growth forests. Dunnino Den outside of St. Andrews, Scotland or Tara in Ireland are perfect examples of this.
That being said, with appropriate rituals you can transform most places into a sacred space where the spiritual and physical meet. This is much easier if the location is in a wooded area instead of an apartment in a city, though even the latter is possible albiet more difficult. In general, any place where you are surrounded by quiet is adequet for this type of working. The chaotic energies of cities make it difficult to maintain an uninterrupted connection between those two planes for any extended period of time.
So in short, you don't have to move to an exotic locale to live in a spiritual place, but the aforementioned areas would amplify your desired connection.

I've heard that the veil is thin-ish in Yelm, Washington, if you want to go to somewhere in America. Otherwise I would go with either Ireland or Iceland.

The Veil is also rather thin in Glastonbury, England. It has been said that the Tower of St. Michael is a direct doorway to the Otherworld, and that Glastonbury itself is the Isle of Annwn or Avalon. Since Ireland has already been mentioned, and that area is my specialty, I would also suggest the Hill of Tara (Teamhair na Ri) and Newgrange. I would also suggest Scotland. There are also places in the United States as well, particularly regions where there are not a lot of humans around; the countryside in general is a good place.
I stayed out in the country at my wife's family's place, when they still lived there, and it was an interesting experience to say the least. I am not sensitive in the slightest (at least, not in my own opinion), though I have seen faeries, but only when they want to show themselves to me, however, when I stayed out at this small place in the country, in the woods, I was so sick for all the days that we stayed there. I was tired, exhausted and nausious every day, that and my cell phone and any electronics that my children, wife and I had were constantly on the charger and drained of battery life, even the house phone that sat on the charger all day long, died after less than 15 minutes of use.
So, my suggestion would be the Countryside, if you are interested in staying in the United States, if you are already there.

The Tower of St. Michael is absolutely breath taking. It dates as far back as the 5th century! A true gem.
