I have a strong guilt that has been with me for about 5 years now.

My dad knew a man that lived about 15 minutes away in an old house. He was a Vietnam Vet. He had been through a lot. Sometimes he had trouble knowing what was reality and what was past. He would freak out and come up missing sometimes.

Then one night I had a dream, I was standing on the road on which the man lived. It was before his house tho. There was a dirt road next to the old down hall. I was pointed toward it. The sky above me was a pink purple, and I saw the moon. Then there was a flash of something sliver that came into my mind. I knew someone had shot them self and was dead down that road.

A few days later my dad told me that man was missing. We went looking for him, and it was far from where I had the dream. I kept calling out his name with my parents…but I had this terrible guilt in me. I knew where he was and that he was dead. I wanted to tell my parents bad, but the only thing holding me back was the thought of finding his body. I did not want to find him.

He was finally found about a year later down that road from my dream. He had shot himself with his gun.

It scares me that I was right and knew where he was…and I also feel bad for not telling anyone.

Wow, that must be scary. Did you tell your parents about the dream after that?

It's natural to feel guilty over something like this. The main thing you need to remember though is that you are in no way responsible for what happened. By the time you had your dream, presumably the man was already dead (maybe it was even happening at the same time) and there was nothing you could do. And no one can blame you for being too scared to speak up. All you can do is learn from this and carry on.

On the plus side, I'm sure you'll feel a weight off your shoulders just by having told us. Keep being brave =)

I did tell my parents the week after we looked for him. Then the next year they found him after the snow melted. My dad had a similar dream the same knight as me. He remembers hearing a gun shoot and someone dead. It does help to talk about it…

That would mean that you're "precognative", which means that you have dreams or visions from the future. I know that sometimes they can be when you are awake and sometimes when you are asleep. I'm so sorry about the man though, it's too bad that you didn't have the dream before something happened to him. Your dad said that he had a dream about it as well? Does he have psychic abilities as well?

I just call myself psychic/medium i get all the weirdness. Yeah being psychic or a medium runs in the family…my father has it, my aunt (my dad's sister), my grandma (my dad's mother) she once had a premonition of the future…

My grandmother was dying in the hospital due to bleeding in her throat caused by years of drinking. She was going in and out…then she finally came back out of a coma for a while to yell at my grandpa. She called him a cheater and that he was cheating on her with a younger women. He was like "what? I don't know what your talking about. No I'm not!" Then she yelled at him calling him a liar. "I saw you! I looked out the window and saw you with that other women on a motorcycle!!"

Grandpa never thought of it after that until…a few years down the road after he met a way younger women. She needed to go to the hospital to get a test done. The test was to see if she was pregnant. As he was dropping her off he got a chill and looked up at the hospital windows…he remembered grandmas words. It so happened he was on a motorcycle to LOL! Totally creepy!!!

The force runs strong in my fathers family hehe!

If I were only that lucky.

I agree with azure. It's not your fault he died. Just be glad he didn't feel your abilities and followed you home.
