Okay, so, this is just an idea, so if you dislike it, then bear with me? : )
It's either a mystery to you, you don't know, or plainly obvious… which, I'm not sure.
I was just thinking, after coming across a website about those gray aliens (after google'ing about DNA) and it made me think about this a lot

The definition of an extra-terrestrial is just… "out of this Earth." More or less, extra and terrestrial make that.
The definition of an alien is just… belonging to somewhere else. So, most people call them aliens, because we don't know WHERE they're from.
We just say that they are the visitors, aliens, and now there is an International UFO (as well as a different ET conf.) Conference! (those are ones that i know of.)
I mean, fire-fighters and police now have to know what to do incase their presence became known and they just decided to come here…
The POPE is even considering their presense! He agrees it is possible, and he would be happy to baptise them (lol)

We're seeing more and more and more and more sightings, paranormal phenomenon, etc (http://www.nuforc.org/webrepor…..event.html…)

And this was kinda a question too.
Does the belief that weakens the veil ONLY have to be in specifically Fae?
Fae can be CONSIDERED as aliens, since they're living in another "Earth," although it's ours, at the same time. o.O
I think that they could be considered as extraterrestrials, as well.
But, I was wondering what you all thought, too…

Also, I'll give some statistics:
•In India and China, a full %40 of people believe that aliens hang out and pose as people, walking among them. (1 in 5 people)

•80% of the people believe in Alien life forms.

•Three in Four Americans Believe in Paranormal

•As with haunted houses, belief in ghosts declines with age. Forty-five percent of Americans between the ages of 18 and 29 believe, compared with 35% of 30- to 49-year-olds and 27% of 50- to 64-year-olds. Just 22% of respondents aged 65 and older believe.

I thought this was interesting, and kinda a thought and kinda question that I thought I'd share. : )

Wow! That is very interesting! I find this particularly facinating because there are tales that the Tuatha de Dannan arrived in Ireland from 'ships that flew' and other accounts of 'floating clouds'.  Ashy and I constantly nag Nevermore and Silverlance about it, but they are elusive in answering. >.<

My mom is huge into this type of subject, and also very into Ancient Egyptian beliefs and mythologies.

Here is one thing that my mom pointed out to me a couple years ago:

There are so many countries on this planet that exist. Thousands of years ago, when the Ancient Egyptians were building the pyrimids and the spinx, there were accounts of all these gods and goddesses who were half man, half beast.

Around the world, there were countries who had never traveled there, never heard of these other countries…and yet…..We all have the same designs.  Many creatures in mythology around the world resemble each other, and from times where there was no such thing as communication with overseas countries or far away lands.

How could this be possible if these creatures, gods and goddesses didn't exist?

Our fae talk about these types of things, sometimes, of fae who have mixed traits. They don't talk about it often, and when we directly ask them these things they avoid the questions or get around with round-the-bush answer.

But one thing I never thought about before until you mentioned all of this….Could it be possible that these creatures are the result of humans and fae 'relationships'?

I don't think that. If you think on how some fae looks like, it's like mixing a skunk and a squirrel together. We don't even know if our DNA will go together, unless it's genetically done. I think it has to do with more ET from space that became our so called GOD. Do you think there is a fae with the head of a dog? Maybe there might be a dog like fae walking on two legs, but it's unlikely that the couple would produce, I think. Because, the DNA of the fae like dog, would be probably too different from our DNA.

I don't think they are ET. Ever since i known of the term ET, it's been used for Out of space. While the Fae, are here on earth. They are in our history, they are not very alien to us. We even make fiction about them and we know a bit about them. But ET, it's very alien, we don't know a thing about them other then that they flew a spaceship and abducted humans. We don't have much history of them other than ancient history that create more mystery.

Fae are in our myth, ET are just alien.

Nevermore: Actually dollface. I beg to differ. There are fae who look like dogs (more accurately wolves) and there were fae who reproduced with humans to get these mixes. Look at the mermaids (preferred merchildren) and Anubis. Have you seen a mix of skunk and squirrel? Does not matter about your blood (finally someone explained your DNA thing) if you are fae. It is MAGIC and the MAGIC that fae and humans create together. See Thousands of years ago we were alike in our blood relations before the Christianity began to chase us away into Tir inn NOg. Humans and fae produced amazing halfbloods. Dont discredit what we can and can not do just because we dont run on your realm much anymore. It is not about whatever this science is but what WE were and still are capable of doing.

Im not saying all of these were results of fae and human relationships but there were a majority that were.

Well, each breed of a dog has different DNA, although it's different, an yet they can reproduce… so it would only make sense that we could as well. Think of them as different breeds… at least the fae.

I've only heard STORIES of ETs… so…lol I don't have any idea of their DNA XD

"the MAGIC that fae and humans create together", what? Do you mean that the Merpeople mixes their bloodline with humans? Wait, isn't Anubis, the egyptian god?

"Humans and fae produced amazing halfbloods", how amazing? what did they create together? Was this like some kind experiment?

Nevermore: It wasn't like an experiment maybe for some but during these times we walked together instead of Fae living in Tír inna n-Óc. (got the keys to work!)  Sometimes just like with humans today and fae today we just reproduce and what comes of it comes of it. It was like that for us too. There is not so much why we did things as it was just what we did and how we  lived. Why do you believe only men and women can marry opposite sex? Why do girls in America wear pink and boys blue? Why do you have breakfast lunch and then dinner? It just is. It was just life for us and no different than any other day.  And yeh. I was referring to Anubis the Egyptian God.  Merchildren have not really mixed their bloodlines together as it is an ancient water fae who once eloped with humans creating the half man half fish that you humans call merpeople or mermaids.

There's so much. I wonder how did Egypt end up taking Anubis as a god.

Are there more than one Anubis?

I wonder how many amount of history record had been erased. Do you know or are allow to tell us why the fae and myth creatures left?

How long can a human live, back when the fae and human still co-exist?
