There are a number of things that can be done actually. Simple prayers, lighting a candle, spells, laying crystals and herbs upon an image of the individual. If you don't have an image, using the human form (anatomy book) and writing the individuals name upon it and coloring in the area with the issue with healing colors, such as purple, placing the stones on it, etc. One can do Reiki which sends universal love and light where needed. Positive affirmations help, as do helping the person to stay positive, laughter is healing. Connecting to the higher self as the higher self always knows what is needed. It boils down to intent.
Will any of this guarantee healing. No. Sometimes there is a lesson involved. Sometimes we experience things to strengthen ourselves or to enable us to better help and relate to others. But none of this, prayers, etc,. hurt.
