I found this website… http://www.otherkin.com/phpBB3…..m.php?f=11
Are these 'otherkin' to be trusted, like I trust you guys? I heard some warnings about them, but theydon't seem too bad.
What do YOU think?

Well, it's probably best to decide on an individual basis whether you trust someone or not, rather than going by what forums or sites they post on. Some people in the Otherkin community are perfectly nice people, while others are in it to play games.
If you're in doubt about someone, it's best to watch their posts for a while if you can, without making any comments yourself. Usually if you read enough of someone's posts you can start to tell whether they are someone who has other people's best interests in mind or not, and that's usually a good starting point for deciding whether you can trust them. :)

To be honest, no. Well…I don't trust them to be respectful, that is. They might have some information that could be useful and/or truthful, though. Last time I went there, there was a lot disrespect, attempts of inflating egos, and trolling. I get the impression that there are certain people there who are a bit immature and get a kick out of fueling their negativity.
Don't get me wrong, I do think that there are decent and respectful people on Otherkin.com, but there are also trolls are lurking around on that site as well and some of them may not be so honest or will try to impose their own interpretation (which might not be an accurate interpretation) of something. For the most part, it seems alright if you are only searching for information. I like to avoid any negativity or conflicts whenever possible. Got enough of that in my life, ya know?

Oh no, we are not to be trusted, as we are cruel, cruel beings >:D
I kid, I kid. It depends on what otherkin you're talking about. We are individuals after all. Just use your judgment.

Honestly , I don't trust them cause they picked on us and they seem to be very anti human, whereas Mr.E wants to help human race.

Depends, like I said, on the otherkin. Actually, some on this forum would be considered otherkin, since they believe they are reincarnated faes. I don't personally identify with them, but like it or not, it is the most well-known term for what I am.
Like I said, I'm not on an otherkin forum any more. There were lots of people with closed minds there, or who were overly—— flamboyant— shall I say, of their beliefs?
Anyways, as a technical otherkin, I do not hate humans, and I have never ever picked on you before. Just keep in mind that you are painting us all with the same brush, when in fact, we are individuals, which I do not appreciate. I know that you're not looking to offend anyone, but I am sort of nontheless.

She doesn't mean anyone on this forum, she's referring to a specific otherkin forum where I was treated visciously (rude doesn't cover it) and the piling on of insults that were aimed at this forum because they deemed us to be, in their words “fluffy.” I didn't really care about their opinion but it did tell me a little bit about some of the people at the forum there.
We certainly understand that there are fae spirits in human bodies here and we welcome them, in fact some of us are them! So….please know that she wasn't referring to you at all unless of course you participated in a thread on an Otherkin Forum where Real Fairies was served up on a platter for everyone's amusement.

Oh, alright. I've never seen a thread about RF on the otherkin forum I'd previously frequented, so I'd assume that "Therian Wilderness" wasn't the one? Thank you for clarifying xD Just after I posted that, I finally figured out that maybe she wasn't referring to otherkin in general… /stupid/
My apologies then Susan, I did get a bit snappy with you. I do hold you and Mr. E in the highest respects, and now that I can see that there was no reason to defend myself, I feel rather foolish.

That's ok, it was an honest mistake and maybe she could have been a bit clearer (but that's not really her style ).
No harm done so let's not worry about it anymore.

I don't trust the site. Like Susan said they did pick on us with their"fluff or not" topic about us calling us some mean things. THey said we were a cult of some sort.

I wouldn't trust the Otherkin forums as far as I'd throw them. They were HORRIBLY cruel to me and my girlfriend about our situation. They have rules about what you CAN and CAN'T be if you're a faerie born in a human body. They don't want to know what kind of experiences you've had, and you definitely can't have real faeries talk on the forum boards or steal your keyboard and post, because they assume you're faking it or trying to get attention. If a Medium or someone tells you that you're a faerie and opens your eyes to the possibilities of being one, they're automatically discredited and made fun of, even though full-body possessions are possible and happen all the time to Mediums. "It's not real, so get off our forums". Whatever.
You guys have been far more friendly and open to our situation than any other forum I've ever been on, and I've frequented many trying to find answers to our questions.

Colour Chart for Faeries that steal my keyboard:
Silverlance in blue.
Ambrosia in red.
Valor in purple.
V in light blue.
Rose in Pink.
So, if I'm writing in any of these colours, I'm most likely not Ashy, I'm one of them.

Meh, like I've said, some are better than others, but they're still not at all that great. That one seems kind of nasty and vicious though. So yeah, probably steer clear of most of them, some people can be pretty cruel on there.
