Zakary, my best friend wanted me to post her similiar story, since she has no account.
She once liked this one guy, she didn't know why but she did. And…well, she waited I(or you could say my best friend) wanted to tell you:
She really liked this one guy; she didn't know why, but she did. Unfortunately, it didn't end that well for her-she's fine now though-because when she went to tell him how she felt and went to ask him out…it was too late, and the guy ended up hating her.
She doesn't want the same to happen to you-and neither do I.
This is what she says:
"What you need to do is find that courage deep in your heart and ask your crush before it's too late, and have HOPE."
You need to have hope that all will turn out well.

thank you everyone for your posts. i wish i could have more help or even have you in flordia at my school. but alas i am stepping onto new unexplored territory that i never ventured onto really.

Debated on replying to this, because I'm rather a failure at romance; pushed this guy that I now REALLY like away when he showed an interest in me.
Long story short, he asked me out when I barely even knew him. I turned him down because…. well, I didn't know how great he was, and I was kind of weirded out to be honest. The fact that he appeared to have asked me out for my physical features was not appealing to me. I later discovered that he used to watch me sometimes, and pretty much knew me, but was too shy to get to know me as a friend. Now, he's one of my close friends, and I'd totally date him. I'm still considering it in fact—- asking him out myself, I mean.
Please, please do at least know the girl somewhat before you ask her out. Take some time to learn to love her for more than her physical features. Make sure you're compatible, and that you can see yourself in a relationship with her. If you're sweet and kind about it, and you choose the right girl— I'm not guaranteeing success, but there's a better chance than if you ask out a complete stranger.
Just keep that in mind, and good luck buddy. I'll be praying for you :)

Just do only try one at a time. Might seem like common sense, but you'd be suprised at how many boys make the mistake of pursuing two girls at once O____o

Well, weigh the pros and cons of dating each one. If they're balanced, and you absolutely cannot decide, then go with the one who you heard wants a boyfriend. If you like the one who you heard nothing about dating-wise, then pursue her.
Maybe post a short personality description of each girl, and I could take a quick look, and see which one seems more date-able and more for you? No probs if you feel uncomfortable doing that, but given I'm female, I understand female behavior fairly well, and could maybe give you a few suggestions :3

one is super friendly and cares for people, is looked at by alot of boys, loves to swim, likes fb, has a million and one friends, hot.
two is friendly and sorta cares about people, likes to swim, has alot of friends, sorta hot, likes to state the obivous

I'd probs suggest you choose the second one, since a really super popular girl, no matter how nice she may seem, generally has really picky taste in guys since they're all chasing after her, and she can choose whatever one she wants :3
Which one wanted a boyfriend, though? If the popular one did, then I'd suggest to go for it, since you'll probs be the first boy with courage to ask her out xD
Girl stuff is complicated lol

I feel the same way…I do not have a boyfriend and I want one badly. I have not found the right person yet and the person who I dearly and truly love and who I need to spend the rest of my life with has been dead for a long time. I am just waiting for the right person to come if he ever will come. I dearly and deeply hope there is someone who can look at me with all my flaws and deepest secrets and still love me and support me but I have not found him yet. Well, I have but he is dead…I wish he could be with me.

I dont think that you should count her out because she is thinking about joining the airforce, you should try to be proud of her, she is trying to get into a male dominated field where she will be discriminated against and if you were to become her boyfriend you should be supportive….
And about being shy just ask her…. yeah you may get rejected, but veryone does at somepoint and you have realize you are yougn ther is definately a girl out there for you that will love you despite your meekness and anything you think is embarrassing, just be patient and make firends stirring up love before it is the right time can have bad outcomes

i missed the last couple of replys but everyone is giving you really good advice so no matter how nervus you are get to know her then ask her out i once liked a girl but was to nervus to ask her out but tbh that is what made me who i am today all the heart ache made me toughen up and made me more confident around everyone – im not saying go out and get your heart broken but nothing ventured nothing gained ;)
