Hi i'm new here, i only joined today! So if this dosen't belong here i can delete it :)

I have a question for you all.

I got a book out of the libary about a week ago, and it is about fairies, it is like an enciclopedia on faires, and they had the word "Cat" in there, as the compleate animal lover i am it imediantly caught my attention, it said something like; Faries sometimes come in the form of cats, they come mostly as white cats…..

Well my cat is a pure white cat, me and my mum rescued her before christmas last year, my friend told me about a sick stray that was…well going to die if she didn't get help soon, so i asked my mum, and she said yes, whitch shocked me a bit, we already had lots of animals, so now we have a beautiful healthy cat who loves me to death!:) But with her something drew me to her, i felt like i had  to get to that cat, not just because she was sick, there was something else….

So could my cat be a fairy, is that why i was so drawn to her? Is whats in the book not true, or is it just not the case for my cat?

Thanks i look forward to all your awnsers!

hard to say on the cat. I just got a kitten myself. They seem to be able to at least see them. I can pick up when they're in the general area but he likes to pounce on them and play with them.  They probably can posess animals.

Welcome to Real Faeries,_ Faeries!_

Could very well be that your cat was led to you BY the Fae.      The faery can shapeshift into different animals–  it's true,    but as BlueFirePhoenix said,  they also will be near an animal , or sometimes can enter them– including insects.

Many dragonflies you see could have a faery attached to them and riding them- you just can't see with the human eye.    Cats and dogs often play with these Beings as well which is why you sometimes will see your cat pounce on something invisible or running after something.

It could be possible that the faeries led this cat into your life–   and the fact that this cat needed a home was part of that- because the Fae will minister to all plants and animals.  They just need a human that is open enough to cooperate with them :-)

Thank you LisaA.!

My cat does chase invisible things sometimes, When i was telling my mum about what i read in the book, and what i have learned about fairies she said something like "Mabye thats what we see her chase at night then" so with what you just said, that makes it a stronger possobilaty!Smile

You're very welcome!  I love cats — and would definitely not be surprised that your cat was playing with some pixies or faeries having fun with her.

I was told that they also play with dogs as well sometimes– especially puppies.    If you see a dog constantly running in circles chasing his/her tail, it's often because there is a pixie or faery attached and the dog can feel their energy right on thier tail–     The faerykind have fun with the dog by making them chase their tail!

My dog Seeley always chases his tail! I never knew why he did it but now that I've read this it makes sense!

Hello ♥

Not to sure that the cat is a fairy because well they love to taunt and play tricks on cats. A woman told us in this one forum I was looking over that her friend had contacted the fairies and she would hear her name being called and knocking on the walls. Well one time her cat was in the kitchen and she heard something say "scat cat, scat!" if the being is ever in their she never goes in after that, but one day she told the fairy "Give her a break!" and she hasn't heard from him.

hope that helps.

xoxo

Alexandra,   I know that person who had that experience!  She shared it on an old Yuku forum- that has since disbanded.    I've kept in touch with her-   the person who had this experience goes by the name, "Mystic Mermaid"

Last year she got back to me and told me how this Faery still visits her.  She appeared to her in two dreams before this incident, and  since the "Scat , Cat, Scat" incident, she has a Faery cottage in the kitchen just for this faery.

This faery now communicates with her and loves when she plays Yanni music on her CD–  her cats  stay out of the kitchen but are not afraid  This faery has helped this person in ways to communicate wth her cat and other pets- and how to go the "extra mile" for them.    The faery has a very upbeat sweet nature- and  even when she was telling the cat to "scat" at first- she whispered it in a sweet playful way—not meanly.

I told her to tell this faery that I send my love and greetings to her-     She did tell her and I received a message back from this faery that gave me goosebumps -and really touched me!    She told me that the Elven Being that is with me likes how I pick up garbage along the sides of the road (I NeVER told Mystic Mermaid I do that!)

also that he has a gift for me and that I should keep my eyes open and alert for it–     In the weeks and months after that message I have received three wonderful gifts that mysteriously appeared for me– and I KNOW they have to do with him!

She also ended her message with "Faery hugs and kisses"

Before I spoke with Mystic Mermaid,  I was thinking of this faery and in my mind  had sent her that very same message before she replied back to me the same way- -through my human friend, Mystic Mermaid!

Very cool experience Lisa!  I just love it when that happens!

As far as the orignal question goes, I agree that cats, along with other beings like birds, dragonflies, etc. can be possessed or used (for lack of a better word) by the fae temporarily but I really doubt if they actually are fae themselves.

thanks! I feel very connected with that faery –even more so since then and I think of her often.  .   And also connected with that Elven Being she mentioned. She told Mystic Mermaid that this Elven Being loves to change his name alot with humans-    At the time he was going by the made-up name, "Twitter"  –  he probably got a kick out of the name of the  online Twitter group.
