i have this friend who is in my dance class and i luv luv luuvv hanging out with her. Then my brother randomly asked why would i ever hang out with her cuz shes two years younger than me. It didnt bother me cuz i like hanging out with my dance friends more than my school friends. He thinks its weird and that i have no friends my age when i clearly do, and he thinks im a total loser when im not. I just hate his low 3 dimensional way of thinking, i cannot be around that anymore. he would be soooo close to me then he would just break the sisterly and brotherly bond. he cannot be happy that i have a friend who is loyal. ah!!!! im just soo mad. i know im suppose to love being around him but im feeling like i cant. he is giving off negative energy and like he is soaked into being cool and stuff. i dont know what to do about him im sorry that this has nothing to do with the fae

Don't Listen to Your Brother, All He wants is to Put You Down like a Peasant. I know How You Feel. It's Ok to Hang Out with Someone Either Younger or Older, but make sure to have a Person to be Trustworthy. There are Most of the People in the World that have some Friendly Issues, And some People, like Us, are Very Good. Don't let Anyone Putting You Down, just be Proud of Yourself & Be Friends with someone special

yeah its okay dont let him put you down. i have this friend(well not anymore) but i wanted to be in his group of friends and he said i was too young(im 15). i asked him to explain but he wouldnt understant why i would do so much to be in a group of friends. people are jerks and to have a loyal friend is awesome dont let your brother put you down like my friend put me down. its just dumb that people think you need to hang with people your age and judge people by their age. just dont listen to your brother and youll be okay.

You can tell him not to discriminate by age and that age isn't the only one thing that people should have most in common with others in order to be friends. Saying that you can only be friends with people your age is like saying that you can only be friends with people who have the same color hair as you do, which is silly. Perhaps you can point out that he only has friends his age group and suggest that he should broaden his group of friends. If he has friends that aren't his age, then you can point that out to him as well…
Maybe he's just trying to give you a hard time just to mess with you…You don't have to take him seriously.

Theres no problem with hanging out with ppl younger than you i have a friend who is 2 years younger we always used to hang out. my brother has like 3-4 friends who are 1 and 2 years younger than him too. just dont listen to him.

Well, that stuff is pretty common for siblings. Just ignore him. I know it may get you mad, but there is always going to be somebody like him, to judge you, that you will have to deal with.
