I'm sooo sorry for what you are going through, OakGoblinfrost.   It's his loss!

I went through something similar when I was young–    I had a crush from a guy in Louisianna in our church retreat-  but he was only nice to me so that he could get to my cousin-     I have  fair skin, grey eyes and used to have freckles, but my cousin is a really exotic looking tawny skinned, brown eyed Italian/Cherokee heritage–  and that combination always attracted the guys to her.    She never had to worry about a tan.

Later in my late teens , early 20's did I end up dating alot-    but then it got to be a pain in the neck because I was interested in an intelligent relationship, and the guys were only interested in a physical relationship.     So don't feel discouraged.  If he was using you, then he would end up being one of those type of guys that really need to grow up– and they are the type that are really shallow and would leave a girl like a hot potato if any sacrifice was involved.

i agree with Lisa. she is totally correct…he is at a loss here and many guys are gonna come and do this to girls. theres not much we can do. if he isnt into the type of relationship or commitment that you are into and doesnt like you the same, its not worth wasting your time and tears on him so dont worry about it, i completely understand how hard it is, im sure all us girls do at a stage.

why dont you and some of your friends get together and help you through this. bring all your favourite foods, movies, magazines and just hang out.

if this guy doesnt see how good you are then he is totally not worth it. plently other guys im sure who are willing to treat you with the respect you deserve, and care about your feelings.

and remember be confident, beautiful and yourself. show him what he is missing out on.

all the best, Bek hugs xx

i believe when i am in the mood that all nature is full of people whom we cannot see, and some of them are ugly and grotsque, and some wicked and foolish, but very many beyond any one we have ever seen, and that these are not far away….the simple of all
