Our family is very picky with dogs and we chose a lab.. its popular , doesnt shed much , medium size , really active , smart and doesnt go wacko if you leave it alone..
and the fae might be mad because you havent told them you are moving so try talking to them in your head and telling them you are moving and ask them if they would like to come along.

Do you like big dogs or small dogs?
And as Dante said, try telling them that you are moving and you could also tell them where you will be.

Hi Rosa! I dont think the fae are mad at you- they know we humans get distracted alot. Make it up to t hem by talking to them and telling them all that is going on with your life right now
I reccomend Shelties– miniature collies. I lovvvvve them! My sister has two Shelties– one is quiet and the other is more outgoing, but they both get along with her two cats and are adorable sensitive little dogs!
Otherwise, I reccomend you ask for Guidance on what dog to pick while going to an animal shelter where you can choose an “unwanted” dog who will be “euthanized” if noone takes him/her.
Hugs and look up! THe faery are also busy themselves with all the chaos on Earth right now– Just tell them what you've been up to and how your'e moving- and leave them even a peice of candy at least!

I used to show and groom dogs. Border collies are high energy dogs that need to keep busy to keep out of trouble, but they're easy to train and very smart. Shelties are not as easy to train as the Border collies ( especially housebreaking) , don't have the need to be on the go as much. Both have about the same grooming needs. The other herder I am familiar with the German shepherd varies widely depending on bloodlines. They're easy to housebreak moderate to train they can be tough at times. All herding dogs have to be socilized so they're not shy of strangers. They're naturally wary ( not necessarily afraid) of anything new or different. shelties are yappy.
Retrievers are easy to train and like to retrieve but also tend to be chewers energy levels and trainability vary widely depending on the bloodline. Easiest are Goldens followed closely by NovaScotia ducktollers. tollers tend to be nervous an yappy. next easiest are poodles and Portugese water dogs. Those two require grooming with clippers its not hard to learn but the equipment is expensive. ( $600 for a clipper and set of blades) Labs are moderately easy to work with and either have a really laid back disposition or bounce off the walls. I personally prefer the hyper high energy dog with a slightly aggressive personality for competition. Chessies ( Chessapeak bay retriever) are stubborn and tough but smart.
The 2 working breeds I've worked with are the doberman pincher and rotwieller. Both have a typical german temperment easy to housebreak but rather tough to train, once trained very reliable. Both require very careful socilization and breeding is a prime consideration as the temperment in poorly bred dogs can be very dangerous.
I've done some training with all these breeds but have only owned the lab, golden retrievers, German shepherd, and sheltie. The golden was my favorite and I favor field trial bloodlines with no conformation breeding.
