About a week ago, I was on a walk with my dog and my dad, it was a peaceful night and i was watching the grassy feilds when i saw this little flame thing with a long flame trail ging behind it! it was fairly slow and then it just seemed to disappear! My dad didn't see it though, and it didn't look like a firefly. Also i was looking through one of my fairy books, and it said this: 'Drakes are fire fairies that are smelled rather than seen-they give of the stench of rotten eggs and travel through the air as streaks of fire.' Maybe i saw a drake?? But i didn't smell any rotten eggs though lol :D

What do you guys think?

Most likely you saw a faes energy. Because of the veil, fae aren't able to physically appear on our side, so they send their energy instead. I don't think fae have a specific race that is over a specific element, but I could be wrong.

Expect NO ONE to believe you when it comes to faeries. The only people that would believe you are the ones that already believe in them/have had encounters. When you say "faery" they will automatically think of a "fairy" like Tinkerbell and think you are being ridiculous and childish. Sad but true.

I know what you mean, my parents did all they could to stomp my belief out of me, but they aren't aware of my growing faith. It's just not the right time for them to open up to the fae, all in good time we humans will be forced to see the world for what it truly is.

Actually… That's not quite true. Fae CAN manifest on the material plane as something other than a glowing orb or a flicker of light or whisp of cloud or whatnot. It just takes an awful lot of energy to do it and it doesn't normally happen in an area where people don't believe in the supernatural. Like, this is probably not likely to happen in places like America, because the majority of people don't believe in ghosts or faeries. However, in places where it's been deep rooted for centuries upon centuries and people STILL believe in it as a majority, you'll see it. Ireland is one of these places.

People in Ireland are STILL afraid of the Faeries. People still don't do construction in certain sites because it's supposed to be a faerie mound or a faerie-something. Belief is what's needed in order to do anything. I currently am living in Japan, and I can tell you that the majority of people believe in the supernatural STILL, even though we've breeched the new millennium. They still have Festivals to celebrate the many, MANY gods and goddesses that exist here. The Japanese Emperial Family STILL propegates that they're descended from Amaterasu, the Sun Goddess, and even though individually many of them don't believe in anything, as a whole and as a group, they do. If you think you have evil spirits following you around, there are places that you can just WALK into and get an exorcism.

I saw a lady the other day on the train going from Kandaimae to Namba. She had really long black hair, and her facial structure was something that I've never seen before on a Japanese person in Japan. Many of the older facial structures have long been bred out, but this woman looked as though she stepped out of an old painting. She wore normal clothes, but everything was slightly off, as though she was trying to fit in, but didn't know how. She wore this BIG, HUGE, FLUFFY, BLOOD-RED Scarf that made her stand out like a sore-thumb. And… she had pointed ears. Real ones. She looked as though she was trying to hide them with her hat, but it wasn't really working, you could see them poking out of her hair. And when she stepped onto the train, the entire atmosphere changed, all the energy changed. Btw: I saw this woman. My friend Kristen saw this woman, our friend Samantha saw this woman, and our "normie" friend Nick saw this woman, meaning that it was real and corporeal, and not something that only I (as a medium) was seeing.

Aislinn saw another girl on the train going to Kyoto, she was younger, but still had that really out of place look to her. I was asleep so I didn't see it. The train makes me really sleepy.

But, from what I know, the fae here in Japan really like to ride the train.

However, back on the topic, you probably did see something fae-ish (I can't tell you what it was though, unfortunately), but if you live in an area where the majority of people don't believe in the supernatural, you probably won't see anything that's more than lights and orbs. It's something I'll miss when I go back to the States: Riding the Train and Seeing the Faeries.
