Last night was definetly out of the ordinary. I'm not sure if this was  a dream or not. It's certainly not the norm for Sidhe behavior. I had gone to bed early and my husband was in his office working on his book as usual. I woke up and reached over to see if he was in bed as I didn't know what time it was or anything. There was someone in the bed I could feel feet behind my knees which really didn't feel right. When I reached over it was a small figure there head to my shoulder feet to my knee probably about 4 ft. and very slim.  THe body temperature was warm except for the feet which were cool.  I have no idea what they looked like. There were no unusual lights or glow in the room. The kitten isn't allowed in the bedroom at night as we're afraid of crushing him in sleep and because I like to sleep in total darkness with the door closed.

I was not really wide awake and I said " who are you?" he/she patted me on the bum and I fell back asleep again.  I didn't feel at all alarmed just mild curiosity. When I woke up later it was my husband there and the other whoever it was was gone.  When I woke up in the morning it hit me just how weird that was and how the heck could I go back to sleep with a stranger sleeping next to me in bed…… that wasn't really supposed to be there.  He didn't see anything out of the ordinary but was having unusually vivid dreams.

Could it have been someone you've been in contact with while asleep? Maybe that would account for the familiarity – both on their part, and why you felt more curious than alarmed. Even so, they probably need to understand that human sleeping consciousness and waking consciousness can be very different, and recognize and react to things quite differently.

Well. It will just, for now, remain a mystery. Perhaps it was a visit from the spirit of a person you knew in a past life. Maybe it was a child you had in a past life who decided to visit you in a child's form for some reason. That is the only explaination I can come up with as of now.

Have to have a name to invoke a spirit.  I don't do protection rituals unless it's clearly indicated.There can be a rebound effect with protection rituals that can cause more problems than it solves. I don't know if this is an indication that something is needed or not. It could possibly be someone I know but I just didn't recognize because of the situation or it could have been that I was out astrally and unintentionally invading someones privacy.  I don't think that was the case.

The spirits that guard the place probably would react to something harmful, and I trust their judgement in the matter. They will not hesitate to tell me if spell work is needed. … the matter is still confusing though

interesting Lisa. I usually have something out for them in the house. Unfortunetly I had to curtail the outdoor offerings due to a problem with rats. We seemed to have been seriously invaded.  It's not suprising they recently harvested grain from the farms around here.  The suspected shape shifters were ganging up on them and trying to kill them. it was 2 red squirrels and a pair of blue jays that were doing this. I think the jay got one. We followed suite we don't like using poison but we had to there were so many of them. None of the other animals could use the birdfeeder and they were digging around the foundation of the house.

Anyway no strange elves in bed last night. …. that I know of

possibly. I don't mind it in any case. Dark elves I've heard what Lisa mentioned but I've also heard stories that they were malicious entities. maybe it varies like the other Sidhe.

Wow! Thats actually a very creepy experience. You didnt feel any fear at all? The somebody whoever they were must have had some sort of power…just like when people describe their fairy encounters as a calming experience.
