Are fae everywhere?

So, are fae creatures in all  wooded areas? In the northeast, where I spent part of my childhood and some teen years, the woods around my Dad's house exude a very intense and vibrant aura or feeling. Even visiting him this year, they still have that same feeling. The trees are almost all hardwood, and very tall, and the few pines there are, are magnificent, colossal sepcimens for the most part. There is little underbrush to impede movement. Where I have lived the past 15+ years in the southeast, the woods are very different. It is mostly white pine, with a mix of maple and poplar (which seems to thrive in the acidic clay) and some oaks and locusts here and there. The ground is always full of underbrush, and heavy with thorns. You always have to be on the lookout for copperheads and rattlesnakes too, during hot weather. And when it is hot here, the air is always so thick in the forest that its a chore to breathe it. The woods here lack that same aura that makes me want to spend time in there. Just doesn't seem very conducive to supporting fae.

I've found there are areas where they have a stronger presence than others.  I'm not sure why that is.   If you hike about 45 minutes from my house from the back yard you enter a wood mostly spruce which is less than 70 years old. At one time it was  a farm. When we first moved here that section did not have a strong presence.  It's changing because I'm doing activities that would tend to attract them. ( offerings music ect) So I'm not sure if they were there and I wasn't able to detect them or if they were elsewhere and attracted to the spot. If you hike further up the hill on top of the hill is a grove of Birch trees over 200 years old. I not only felt a strong presence there but light anomolies showed up when I took pictures.  When I went up there to play music it became so strong I was a little startled initially. It felt like something almost happened but I didn't quite get it right somehow. A word or note out of place … it's hard to explain.  I also found some interesting information on my reading the past couple nights which may shed some light on the nature of our dealings with the sidhe who they area and what their world is.  Monroe and Fox's accounts of astral projection experiences show strong paralells to old world accounts of Sidhe encounters. It strongly supports the shamanistic animistic theory.  Both Fox and Monroe were able to make their astral double appear visible but translucent in the here and now. Both observers had mediumistic talants but were not in altered states. So the doorway maybe through a person rather than through an earthly landmark. Because you may have been strongly connected to the otherworld at that place but your not as much here. Your worried about poisonous snakes this would tend to dampen the connection process which requires relaxation and a high level of comfort.  I
