Wow, I'm blown away. Especially the second link is AMAZING. It's the most beautiful book I've ever seen… Thanks so much for posting this! :D

Was that the "device" they were talking about? I wonder how it helps you see faeries…

I love Brian Froud, I have his faerie oracle cards :)

Thanks for those links! I am going to play the videos on my father's Windows 7 super fast computer-  once he gets his audio working.   I love Brian Froud and really believe he has a genuine insight of the Faery.

The faery I encountered looked very much like the pixies he had painted- only she was more softer and regal –and the pixies he painted were male and more wiry looking– also a bit on the bold bratty side..lol ;-)     From seeing his paintings (AFTER my encounter– and not before, proving that his artwork did not influence my encounter)      I really do think who I saw three years ago was a Pixie Being– If not, I could definitely see Brian Froud painting a Being like her and she would have been in the "Good Faeries" section :-)

yep, I do think he has a sincere connection with the Fae- and that it was the Faery who started this connection in the first place with him- as they liked his painting skills and they wanted the humankind to get a chance to connect with them as well-  plus I think alot of the Faery he painted were tired of us humans assuming all of them look like Tinkerbell or are all females with wings.   and I think alot of the Fae Beings just couldnt wait to show themselves off a little so they made sure he got thier pictures just right ;-)!

Wow!!!! Brian froud is amazing! I need that book I feel it's true. Mostly because of that flap with the bush people that they had and in another book by another author she described them just like that! I'm getting that book! I need it!!!!!

Thank you for sharing that Saranel!

I icluded How to See Fairies in part 2 of my reading list because it was so well reviewed. I don't own the book though.

Has anyone here used the gadgets in the book to see fairies with any success?

It was great to be able to see the authors, I have never seen them before.

I liked what Froud said about fae being subtler beings because I believe that they are. And, of course, Mr. E talked about that too. They both seem legit to me, none of that silly drivel that some authors write about fairies.

Haha, I just ordered it a couple hours ago, but it has to come from a USA supplier and I live in Australia so it will take a while to get here! If you get your copy before mine, let me know what it's like!! ^_^

I think because the layout is a little (not in a bad way) childish it'll bring that sense back to you and will help you open up better. He did say that the very book itself would attract fae to your house! I hope this book will be very inspirational! I have taken a habit of reading books out loud to the fae like my fairy and folk tails of ireland or my fantasmagoria book (not as spiritual as how to see fae because just uses facts from other stories not from fae) and I ask them to watch tinker bell with me and I was watching one day when I saw a red orb with a fairy(not just saying because I felt but I SAW it's outline) in it right by the TV watching it with me. Pictures pop into my head of fae sitting around on my mom's bed posts, pillows and watch it with me. It's very comforting.
