Hey, everybody : )
I just heard about something called "Brown Mountain Lights"
and it seems like fae-like activity to me… I wanted to see what everybody thought…

"

Brown Mountain is a small mountain in the Blue Ridge in Burke / Caldwell County area.

People have always seen the Brown Mountain Lights.  The Cherokee saw them.  The first settlers saw them, and you can see them today.

What are the lights?  Most people see them as glowing round balls that go up and fade.  Sometimes they look like a sparkler and move, sometimes they don't.  Scientists cannot explain the cause of the lights.  But there are many legends about them.  We will tell you three."

Brown Mountain Lights

"For centuries, mysterious lights have baffled observers on Brown Mountain in Burke County, North Carolina. The strange lights are often described as white, red, or yellow balls of light. They reportedly move around or remain stationary. Sometimes they are said to look like misty spheres or produce a sizzling sound. Close encounters with the lights have been said to cause dizziness as was described in a 1962 report in the "Charlotte Observer". Twelve eyewitnesses watched the lights from a 60-foot tower. When one of the lights approached one of the men, he suddenly had "a static-like feeling of dizziness". According to the report, when the men climbed down from the tower, they were unable to stand"

Reading how people's bodies react, sound like UFO to me.

Interesting. The area isn't all that active geologically. This is seen around volcaonos and before earthquakes.  my first guess is that it's a natural phenomenon of some kind but it might be interdemensional in nature like a vortex or portal area. The Cherokee have very significant fairy lore and this might be something  related to them. The physical reaction is similar to one of the reactions people can have to warders. ….portal guards. .. used to prevent intrusion.  It would be interesting to see what else has been seen in the area.   It's not UFO's. They're usually seen as vehicles and they burn people who get close… like radiation burns. … a few people have died from that. Warders generally manifest in neurological disturbances dizziness bad feelings, fainting. stuff like that.

Hmm… I've never even heard of a "portal gaurd" or warder… thanks for that :D hah
I'll deffinitely look into it more and maybe post on this if i find anything interesting. : )
I know there are some videos of it on youtube that I've yet to see…
But… the lights get me. They're colorful lights.
Also, I didn't really know about the Cherokee and their fairy lore…
Perhaps it's a way into the faeryworld? hmmm
