Ever since I was little, I've listened to Art Bell (Coast to Coast AM), with my dad, since he's a truck-driver, always listening to the radio when he's out, and we used to listen to it sometimes on the weekends…
So, there was this one story, about this place called "Mel's hole"
And I was just thinking, maybe it's fae related, or some kind of a portal, or veil?
Nobody knows where it is now… and is bottomless…
it was in Mel's backyard, and he thought it was a well, but found that it never ended (and some say it has ressurection properties) But, unfortunately, the army took it over, and it's a secret location now…

Wow…I read the article, and thats crazy! A never ending hole? If thats not a portal I'm not sure what is. It sounds like a perfect place for the fae to come out of but for humans to be unable to enter. Nice find! :)

Yeah, it's protected by the army (which is even more suspicious)
Have you ever seen the movie "the fog?" where the military unleashes a realm… and breaks the veil!
Well, not saying that's what will, or could happen, though i believe anything's possible… haha
Why do you think humans wouldn't be able to enter ? (if it's a reason besides not knowing where it is, being covered)

Well I was assuming since it was such a deep hole AND its protected by the government it would probably be pretty difficult for a human other than one of the ones protecting it to enter. I know i'd be a little wary of entering a supposed never ending hole!

it didnt really say why he thought it was neverending..
he tied a weight to a fishing line and put it in a hole..
what was he expecting to happen?

i think he thought it was never-ending because how he couldn't get the anchor to hit the bottom of the well, and strange stuff was coming out, and it was taken over.
I'm not sure about the not existing,
and i'm not saying it's real, but if it is, then I'd think that they would cover his name, and he'd get in trouble for talking about it…
I think he put it in, because people kept throwing things in the well, and it maybe looked like it had no end-
I dunno, you'd have to listen to all 12 parts of the audio (or are there more?)
I'm just hypothesizing from what i read lol
