So I put out some vanilla cookies in my fairy house last night. Right as I was dozing off to sleep I heard a cute little munching sound. When I came to put some new food in the house, there were tiny little bites taken out of the cookies! :O! I was like "whoa!!" Do you think they took a bite of my cookies? :3

MimiDee, I think they did- because a mouse or other animal would have eaten the entire cookie- especially where sugar is involved. All animals love sugar and would not leave a cookie there if they were nibbling on it.
Also- even though the faery do enjoy the essence of food- they sometimes have been known to take bites off of something to let the human know to "keep it up" and encourage you to keep putting out snacks for them :-)
A person I met at a holistic fair last October told us how when she set out some Condensed sweetened milk in a dish for the Faery that there were little footprints walking straight across the condensed milk (which is very thick)
They didnt have to leave those footprints, but they did to encourage the human who left the snack for them– to let them know it's not being wasted- and to keep it up !
Now next time you may notice no bites whatsoever- they may have just done this for this time only- because they know you are new at leaving things for them. They will enjoy it just the same so don't be discouraged when you don't see any physical evidence like little bites

That's really cool about the little footprints! I definitely will keep leaving little treats out for them. Thanks! :)

Well, this makes it weird for me, because when I was little, my best friend and I used to leave snacks out for leprechauns, and one day, we left out an Oreo. When we came back a half an hour later, there was a tiny chunk taken out and a trail of crumbs leading off the kitchen table. My mom swore she didn't do it, but I didn't believe her. Now that I'm older, though, I realize how hard it would have been to take a piece that small off the Oreo using just your fingers, and I don't think my mom would go through the trouble of getting a butter knife and cutting off a piece of the Oreo, so now I'm wondering…
