Last night, I was trying to sleep. At abouyt 10:30-11:00 I guess, my beagle, who sleeps with me, starting barking. I was irritated, because I thought I'd have school today-which I don't because of the snow…and we're supposed to get more-and I didn't want to be tired.
Anyway…I noticed she was staring at area-close to the wall-across from my from my bed. I thought one of the cats had got in the room, and were standing onto the-decorantional-chamber pot I have in my room (I like historical things, and my room sorta looks like something from the 1860s because the furniture looks like that. I wanted a chamber pot to complete the look)
My eyes happened to stray to the window RIGHT across from my bed. I saw something that looked a little larger than an insect hovering near the center of my window, but still off to the side of the window. It was there for like three seconds, then it flew (kinda quickly) away from the main part of my window to the side, where I couldn't see it.
I'm not new to fae encounters-as my other encounters have probably made that impression-so if it was a faery, I'm wondering if it could be the same faery encounter I had in 2008, or any of the others. Or it could be a different faery.
Needless to say, I was weirded out-I certainly wasn't expecting this! Purple green, or blue lights maybe, as I sometimes see them hovering around my room at night, but not this-but not uncomfortable.
Or it could be the fact that I was tired-which I was-and my eyes played tricks on me. Or it could've been an insect, though it looked larger (again it could've been my eyes playing a trick on me.
But if what I saw was one of the fey, I'm thinking my dog saw it, and that's what caused her to bark. As I've heard several times about cats and dogs detecting ghosts, faeries, and other entities.
