Ever since I was a little girl I would occasionally feel a drop of water or two land on my hand. I used to attribute it to rain falling out of clouds in the sky, but it has happened several times when I am standing under a cloudless sky and once or twice it happened indoors. Could this be a fairy, and if it is, why would he or she be crying, as it usually happens when I'm in a neutral mood?
Also, this summer I was sitting on a swingset when I looked down and saw a little ring of clumps of mushrooms right at my feet! It was awesome. :)

Aaah, I forgot to mention a few other things.
1. Recently, all of the steak knives at my house except for two have gone missing. I don't know where they went and it's really confusing my mom. I know fairies like shiny objects so… how do I go about getting the knives back?
2. When I was a little girl, there were two shadows on my bedroom wall that appeared only at night for several weeks. One of them was distinctly human shaped and would wave its arm all night long. The other was a large lump that grew and shrank each night. I did not have any trees in my yard at the time, and behind my house was a huge field. What was waving at me?
3. I don't know how much you know about dreams and animals but it's worth a shot to mention this — recently I've had two dreams where I turn into a pig. I almost never turn into anything in my dreams, and I certainly haven't turned into the same thing twice, much less in the same week! Is there some sort of magical explaination to all this?

The pig story is interesting. There was supposedly a girl here that was a sidhe who was in a relationship with a human man. She shape shifted to a pig and he beat the crap out of her. When she returned home she was badly injured and covered in bruises. When he asked her who beat her up she told him you did and that was as far as we know the end of the relationship. Maybe you have an ancestoral connection to this. It would be either Cape Breton Nova Scotia or western Scotland particularly the Hebrides. Most of the scots here are descendents of these clans.
knives…. they usually don't go after such big objects usually small ones another thing they don't like iron and to some extent have the same trouble with steel. They have an intense dislike of steel things which might be preceived as weapons for some reason scissors and needles are the worst.
If the knives are stainless steel it's probably not sidhe that messed with them. I doubt they'd touch them.
I don't know about fairy tears I've never heard of them. I don't know if they grieve with tears or not.

Some shadows CAN be demons too- while others could be certain beings from the Faery kind, or deceased housepets, etc

Well, I can usually tell when something is kind or not, and I didn't actually feel any ill will from the shadows or anything — I was just scared because I had no idea what they were!
