The Faery are definitely around!
I saw some more flying lights recently- and they werent fireflies. In fact, I'm worried about the fireflies here, as I havnt seen any of them this month- and I'm wondering if any of our local landowners are spraying pesticides.
This week I went to a nearbyl Dairy farm store to pick up some organic Cream for my coffee drinks– Yummm!!!
I worked late this week and so it was already dark when I got there. This Dairy Farm was approached by the Gas companies already to lease thier land for hydraulic Fracturing Gas drilling– They rejected the proposal because this form of gas drilling is very invasive, with a high potential for permanent water contamination , etc. and they didnt want anything to jeopardize the farm animals and land. I wish more people had thier kind of attitude.
Well it does not surprise me that I saw a white flying light the size of a softball zoom by my car near thier farmland when I was leaving there that night. The faery know about which human actually cares about the land and animals and which people only care about only making profits from gas company leases. I was happy to see one of the faery zoom by the fields
near my car. I am always caught off guard when I see them fly by at night- as it doesnt happen often, but yet I was not surprised.
The atmosphere at this Dairy farm is awesome! They have a beautiful garden area where they are restoring turn of the century greenhouses. They've added a lily fountain pond with every kind of perrenial flower there and vine covered archways with pathways leading to other wildflower and perrenial gardens- Sunflowers galore mixed with multi-colored Zinnias, and some rare species of ducks and chickens in shaded pen areas.
They have a little “Tea Garden” there as well with lavendar and all sorts of herbs and plants you can use to make different teas- You should have seen all of the butterflies playing around in that garden!!!
The garden area is near a creek where there is a continuing Woodland path as well. Horses, cows, goats, chickens, ducks, lambs are all humanely raised — it is a haven for these animals and for all of us who get to visit there.
The store would have made money off of leasing thier land to the gas companies but they refused because they care for their land, animals , and the Natural beauty there that would have been tarnished forever. This is one of the main reasons why I only buy my jelly and cream there now from now on– as they do rely on donations and sales from their hormone free dairy.
It's called Hillside Farm Dairy- in Trucksville, Pa You can Google it as I think they have thier own website too!
