I've been working on my yard trying to make it very attractive to faeries. Recently my children and I set up a faery village. We painted a few small bird houses and set them up in a really overgrown area of the yard that I felt the most pulled to for having any faeries activity. The other night we decided to put out some food for the fae. I found my old doll house pots and pans and filled 3 of them with honey and put them on a tiny serving platter and placed them out before betime. My children made sure to ring our windchimes and announce to any faeries in the area that we had a special treat for them. When we came out in the morning all three bowls were empty of honey. The odd thing was two of the bowls had been completely filled back in with dirt. One bowl was completely empty. There was no dirt on the serving tray, or even on the rims of the bowls- just dirt tampted down in them. There was no rain that night, nor was there any evidence of dirt being disturbed anywhere near them. Very odd. The next day when I went back to clean up the plates, the two bowls with dirt were now completly empty. No dirt still on the tray. So do you think we had a visit from the faeries? It just seems too odd to be made by animals. I'm curious to hear what everyone thinks. Thanks!

Yeah. I dont think animals would put dirt in trays and take them back
That reminds me of my first experience.. The fae put a little rock as small as the hand of a pixie. And more and more i started seeing little lights and orbs. I started talking to them , but then they left for winter , and they came back but now i found myself less connected to them.

Samara, that is awesome! I think you have just experienced some from the faerykind letting you know that they enjoyed the honey you left them :-) LIke Dakota Rising mentioned, dirt is not going to be neatly placed back in the bowl–without any dirt on the dish under the bowl- no animal is going to do that.
The Fae were letting you know that they were there- and they enjoyed your snack :-)

DakotaRisingMoon,
I love your fox photo!!!!
Sometimes we can go back and forth from being connected one day to less connected later– That's because we often let our every day lives distract us - This Summer you may want to re-connect with them more again– especially out of compassion for what they must be feeling from all of the environmental disasters mankind has dumped on this planet at this time–
hugs
Lisa

The best way of staying connected is by saying they can spend the winter in your home. They can take care of your plants. You can make a nice comfortable bed for them. That way you can have them around all year. Plus energy is starting to increase so if you want to do a spell to attract more fae, it will be more effective. Summer Soltice is just around the bend too!

Thanks Witchy Woman! that's so true- to invite them in for the Winter also. :-)
Also, to share your every day life with the faery will keep you connected too.
