hi. i think it belongs here but i'm not entirely sure but i will post it here anyway.
I often hear music, or people talking that other people can't hear. is this clairaudience? or just super-hearing? and i also heard that being clairaudient was rare. is it?

It definitely sounds like clairaudience to me and in my opinion no Clairaudience isn't very rare. I have it and its clair sense is better than my clairvoyance.

I've had about 2 incidents of clairaudience the voices don't sound the same as human voices to me. Music must be nice to be able to hear that

There's a noted "medical condition" in which people report being able to just barely hear something that sounds like music, or like people talking, at a sound level that is *just* below being able to make anything out clearly. My mom and I both get that sometimes. Is that what you get, too? Or can you actually make out what you're hearing clearly? And if you can, does what you hear sound like the kind of thing you would normally hear in the place(s) where you hear it?
(For example, if you live in an apartment complex, do you hear people talking about their jobs, or babysitters, etc., or hear small dogs barking?)
Personally I wonder if the "medical condition" is less of a medical thing and more of a just-barely-there clairaudient effect.

It could be both. If you've never had your hearing checked you may want to, even just to get an idea of how good or bad your hearing is. Like Athidal said, if you live in close proximity to others you could just be picking up those noises. But then, you'd know better than us if it feels or sounds human.

hmm… its like in my mind, the voices, but the music i hear with my human ears. i could be in the middle of a thunder strom and i can hear unearthly singing – no human could make that sound. i live in a rural area so i dont pick up on any noises other than natural stuff – birds, dogs, wind, creek. i especially like my "Star Music", which i heat at night. i reckon if stars could sing than they would sond like that music.

It sounds like you're experiencing both telepathy and clairaudience there. (Telepathy is when you get the words or ideas without the sound, clairaudience is when you get the sound.) As for how rare it is, that's hard to know for sure since a lot of people won't own up to having experiences like that because they're afraid other people will think they're weird. (It sort of makes you wonder, doesn't it, whether if everybody 'fessed up, the people who didn't hear stuff like that would be the weird ones? ^^)
But anyway, it sounds like you get a real treat from the stars and the storms. Congratz, and enjoy! :)

Another two cents to throw in – people don't fess up with having clairaudience as it is associated with the mental disorder schizophrenia.
