There's more regarding the fiddle players here and the sidhe. The other story isn't posted on the internet anywhere. is one about a fiddler who was taken and given a magic fiddle. The fiddle's heart was the true heart of Celtic music. The musical soul of the otherworld imbedded into this blue fiddle. He was released ( there was a raid on the rath a year later when the doors opened and time stopped) and he left with the fiddle. He played it til the music was released on the island and it still resides here today. I'm convinced that this spell was the essential ingredient to the great fiddlers of this place. No they didn't go underground and learn, but the magic from the otherworld resides in the very ground we walk in here.
This gal is my favorite fiddler. If you look she's totally tranced and the music comes from beyond. Seeing her live you can feel it. She also lives close to us too.

This is the magic bow in action. Secrecy is usually required of the recipients of magical objects, or the spell would be broken. It's an ordinary bow but we don't know if it was made here and charmed there or made there. I wonder if shes the same Mary MAcDonald that I know

I should add that both the magic fiddle and bow were given to members of the MacDonald clan. A clan that I'm related to and to the group here as that branch of the family came over from Skye as well. The fairy troop could be under the same queen who has a particular fondess of fiddle music. Queen Giorsal. It doesn't say in the magic bow account but I'd say there's a good chance of it. It was done with the same M/O
