Do mushrooms have anything in common with fae. Theres these two mushrooms that came out of no where and they have never been here before. I took a picture but it disappeared like i thought it would. Ill post a picture tomorrow but they are very large and they seem pecuilar and i only know 2 fae so maybe they made them each idk i was just thinking.

Yes mushrooms have a lot to do with fae! If you see a circular cluster of mushrooms, called a fairy circle, it supposedly means that fae danced in the area. I dont know too much, but I do know mushrooms symbolize the fae.

The irish believe there is an association especially with the Muscara. It's interesting because thats a hallucinogenic mushroom and was used by shaman for their vision work. ( please don't try eating them there are several highly poisinous subspecies) I think there might be a flower spirit association. I don't think there's an association with the taller peoples though.

mushrooms mark gateways to other worlds, faeries like to live in/around them, especially the bright colored ones, sometimes the mushrooms themselves talk hehe… they are sacred plants a lot could be said about them, they are very wise
