My Encounters

My encounters with the fay began a few months after I first began researching them on the Web and through books (see my introduction post for more details). I thought I would take it to the next level and instead of just reading about them, I would start talking out aloud to them. At first it felt really strange because I'd never done anything like that before. I guess it would be the equivalent to praying, and that was the thing – I'm not religious, so I'd never even considered praying before. But I did my best to speak as clear as I could, with respect and made sure never to sound demanding or threatening. I spoke to them like I would a good friend. Basically what I did was tell them all about myself, why I was talking to them and what it was I wanted to achieve by doing so. I spoke to the fairies until I had run out of things to say. I was always honest, so I told them it was all new to me and I didn't really understand who the fairies were. Then I laid down and went to sleep (I was in bed). The next night I spoke to the fay again. This time I told them about my day, and a little more about myself. I told them everything. Plus, just before I finished I politely asked if it would ever be possible for me to see them. When I'd finished, I said "goodnight" to them and laid down to go to sleep. I was laying on my back, in the dark, looking up at the ceiling and the strangest thing began to happen – I began to see small streaks of light, like shooting stars. I would describe the light as being a hazy, pearl-like white and very very faint. At first it was only one or two a minute, but eventually, it began concentrating in a small area and became sparkles. I wasn't frightened, just really excited that something was happening seemingly in response to my words. I said a huge thank you out aloud to the fay and told them that I really appreciated their efforts and their trust in me. I told them also that I wasn't frightened and they were very welcome in my room. Shortly after, I couldn't see the faint sparkles any more and I turned over and closed my eyes to go to sleep.

My next encounter happened about a week later. I didn't see the little 'shooting stars' or the sparkles again, but I began seeing white flashes of light in the corners of my eyes. Mostly at night it happened, but I also saw the flashes during the day. I also saw moving shapes, again in the corners of my eyes. So, I acknowledged the fay and thanked them for appearing to me this way. Again I told them I wasn't frightened and that I appreciated their efforts and trust and how I loved having them around me.

This continued on for many months. So you can see, the fay didn't rush things with me – they took things step-by-step and I believe they were observing me to see what my intentions were. Contact with the fay came very gently and very slowly. At this point, I started to sense them when they were near. I would feel tingling on my head, as though my hair were standing on end. I would feel a warm tingly sensation in my chest; a very joyful feeling like a cross between being in love and wanting to laugh. I was still seeing flashes and shapes. It was also at this time that I started leaving offerings to them at night. Things like: cheese, bread, milk, honey, cake, chocolate, fruit, biscuits, even beer.

The next major experience happened November that same year, early in the evening, while I was sat at my computer. I was reading a website that was putting forth the idea of the fay and humans living together once before, and as our differences separated us, humans began persecuting the fay, driving them away into natural areas. The website also went on to explain how the fay became three main groups: the seelie, the neutral, and the unseelie. I suddenly felt a tingling on the left side of my face so I turned my head to the left to see if there was anything there. And I saw a yellow diamond-shaped spark. As soon as I saw it, it performed a 'U' shape swoop to the left, into the corner of my eye. I turned again, only for the yellow spark to do the same 'U'-shaped swoop out of my vision. I turned again and it had gone. I was quite excited to see this and told the fairy I had seen her (it felt like a her). I thanked her, told her it didn't frighten me and that I was grateful to her for making the effort to appear to me and for trusting me enough to do that.

Since then I have seen floating balls of light that ACTUALLY moved around objects in my bedroom, a body-shaped flash of light on top of my computer desk and flying sparks that made a snapping sound. I've heard my name being called, I've heard grunts, I've found money in random places when I needed it, I've found my gemstones moved around, and I've bumped into many humans who could very easily pass for fay.

These are my main experiences. I have had many more, but it would take too long to describe them all.

You've had some really exciting encounters Neil :)

I've heard many different cases involving coloured balls of light, but never had an experience with them myself. You're very lucky!

Keep us updated :)

Amazing! I've also seen flashes of light darting around, but not so much now since I haven't put so much effort in contacting them lately. Been busy with other things right now. It's been a busy year for me.

I've also had tingling on my hair. In fact, at one point, I carried the seven pointed star around with me one day just to see if I can catch their attention and to show that I'm alright with them. During class, I felt something gently tug at my hair, I turn around and no one was there. No one was sitting behind me as I was sort of sitting at the back of the room. It felt kind of tingly, too.

Anyway, definitely keep it up! I would love to hear more of your encounters!

Thanks for reading my long post, JollyRancher36, and replying to it. It's nice talking to you. For sure I'll keep you all updated.Smile

All the balls I've seen were a pearly-white colour and weren't solid – they were like balls of dense, bright smoke. I haven't seen any other coloured balls. The only fay I saw that didn't appear white appeared as a yellow diamond-shaped spark. All the orbs or balls I saw also seemed to react to their surroundings, for example: flying straight into flowers I've had in my room, dodging around objects, flying under or through objects, gliding up to land on my chest, et cetera. Yeah, I feel very lucky – honoured even – but I feel anyone with a pure heart can see the fay with time and patience. A lot depends on intentions and whether or not we could deal with a fay just appearing in front of us. Plus, I'm guessing other factors like location play a part. I'm fortunate enough to live out in the countryside and I'm literally surrounded by beautiful rolling fields and ancient forests with streams. I think that maximizes my chances of contacting and befriending the fay.

Thanks for reading my post, Adamaris – I know it was quite long. Glad you enjoyed reading it. You bring up a really good point that I have also found. When I, for whatever reason, stop talking/thinking about the fay, activity decreases. When I do see them, it seems it's either because they are aware I'm thinking of them or wanting to communicate and/or that thinking and believing in the fay spiritually opens us up to see them better. I know they all have their own lives, too, and humanity isn't the be-all and end-all of everything, so, I would imagine when we don't think of them as much and we concentrate on other aspects of our lives, they do the same. I DO think, however, that when we bond with a fairy or the fay in general, that bond remains and no experience is any less important than other. I've always believed the fairies know us more than we know ourselves and if we reach out to them, they will reach back in ways we can accept and cope with. Ways we'll be totally comfortable with. They are an incredible race and I love them dearly.

Neil, I have to say that you most definitely met  and connected with the  Fae in your area.   There is a heart bond there that I have also felt  after my encounter 3 years ago. It doesnt go away either–

I have seen the sparkly way they manifest themselves as well-   in  my case, one of them flew over our apple tree in pink sparkles–

I'm going outside again to sleep in our camper tonight, so I will have to bring out a cup of wine for them–     Thanks for your post–  :-)
