As an Irish dancer (I mean, I don't live in Ireland, I live in America and was born there. I'M AMERICAN! But I take Irish dancing.), I practice most of the time at home. I was watching myself do a jig in the mirror. I was breathing heavely from doing three steps. I was smiling, too. I messed up or did something funny with my foot. I laughed inwardly. Then I heard small laughter that sounded like a bubbly teenaged girl. I looked around.
No one in the room.
I have no sisters.
My mother sounds NOTHING like that.
Where did that come from? From previous times at night, toweled, coming out of the shower, I often saw light headed towards my brothers room (who's in college, so he's not living with us).
Where I had practiced my jig.
Where I had heard the laughing…

It did sound like it was coming from a fairy. They love any form of art (performing arts included) and some LOVE to watch dancing. Congratulations!

I live in a region where Ceilidh's are a regular part of the summer and there is a lot of step dancing ( or attempts at it) that goes on. The sidhe probably sneak into the performances. There was a fiddler about 100 years ago Angus Tulloch who ended up playing for their Ceilidhe He came back for awhile then left for good. As far as anyone knows he's still there playing. I think it must be a big thing with them because of the risks they took in getting him. The highlanders don't have the greatest relationship with them and fights were ( and are still )often the end result.

Thanks! I'm so excited! :D (Though this happened a while ago!) But sadly, they might have lost my trust because I blew up when something had broken in my room and everyone in my family said they didn't do it. I thought it had to be the fairies, so I wasn't being the nicest person that day…
I forgive them(if they did it, that is) whoever that was.
And I totally regret I blew up. Maybe they are still hiding from me; I don't know.

That does sound to me that a faery was enjoying watching you dance– they love it when we humans dance in fun light-hearted ways. They wish we humans would kick our shoes off and do that more.
I think you may want to put out an offering to the faeries in your yard- and tell them out loud that you are so sorry for your temper that time– and you hope that they will feel at home once again in your home- and that they are always welcome there and you will do your best to stop being negative or defensive.
Faery, I"ve been told by those who have interaction from them– are very sensitive Beings and they don't like negativity.
I think they will respond to your sincerity if you do that
Hugs

Wow! Thanks for the advice Lisa! I'll be sure to tell them sorry and try to remember their sensitivity. I'm very sensitive myself. :D
Thanks again!

Ah yes, nothing like some good irish dancing to bring about a few of the fae, we've been known to have some raucus times in my room sometimes, when the vibe is just right, usually I'll just start dancing, for me its rave music that gets me moving, but I dance to it in all kinds of ways, today, I was even out walking and a fae reminded me of that song 'I Believe I can Fly' I used to always sense that walking through the streets, and I sang it again and I still have the old moves in me, Gretna! Well, if it isnt a delicious time for those curious folk here, people have been drawing in the streets and walking about in such a cheer, if I didn't know better I'd say it were one of those magical and blessed times where all beings come together spontaneously in appreciation of the universe and one love!! oh, do I dare to hope? haha always.
may we remember life itself is a dance… a strange and wondrous dance indeed, we all find our own way.. and have our own interpretation of the groove, hence we all find ourselves where we do, but essentially, its all movement, and its good to move
yea, I am the Lady of the Dance!!!

Another thing that happened about two nights ago is that I could hear a soft bell jingling inside my head. (I didn't cause this) I picked up a jingle bell I had in my room and started ringing it. When I finished ringing, the bell inside my head had left…

fairiesdancingonthebreeze, you really seem to be experiencing the faery going out of their way to reach out to you– I read your other post too, where you mentioned how someone called out your name, and you saw that white light fly by you in your bedroom- that definitly sounds like Faery to me- -especially that joyful feeling you received after that light flew by you- :-)
Hugs

Thanks! I'll remember that. Maybe they keep seeing that I keep searching madly online for info and sticking my nose in books about fairies and writing about them. XD Maybe!
I kind of felt in a trance of happiness, but I couldn't do anything but watch. Like I said, for some reason, I just watched in awe without smiling. Now I know that you can be under something close to hypnotisim or a trance. Weird feeling. Your mind clears–except the subject that is appearing before you, I guess you could say. But, differing from the clear mind, your mind is SPINNING with questions on the subject!
Thank you again!
Hugs…back!
